It was nice to see a fjord, but this trip was not worth it. Its a two-hour boat ride to Rosendal. Thats it. Rosendal is NOT worth the time. You arrive at 10:30am, and the boat doesnt leave again until 2:25pm. There are very few shops, very few restaurants. The only thing worth seeing is the barony, which is not open in September. Its another two-hour boat ride back to Bergen. If youre interested in seeing that rock in the picture, forget it. Its part of that fjord, but its two bus rides and a 14 HOUR long hike. Overall, this was a colossal waste of time and money.
