Shame about the commentary

Good number of stops and frequency but the commentary lets it down. It unfortunately came across as a bit patronising, there were several derogatory comments about woman and it wasn’t that informative. We ended up walking half of the route as we felt it was better than listening to the tour. It was a shame as I have used this company in many other cities and always been pleased with the experience

I bought a ticket for the hop on hop or bus in Berlin together with the boat. on arrival there appeared to be no boat in the winter. we have been scammed through your website part and therefore lost money. How are you going to reimburse this?

It was an excellent choice especially given poor weather to use the Hop on Hop off bus where you get a great appreciation via the view from the top deck and the narrated tour of the city which if time is limited, allows you to pick and choose locations for further exploration.

I was so surprised that with the amount of bad weather that London has, there was no canopy to be drawn over the top of the bus during rain. The bus was so full there was no place to go and you had to just sit there and get wet. Also when I boarded again there was no room and the upstairs guide said there were no towel to wipe the sets so I had to sit in wet seats. She was in a seat for 2 and did not even move her stuff to allow me to sit there. Up to this point Hop on Hop off buses have been great but I am not sure that inn London the company has not realized that inclement weather happens frequently and there were no accommodations. Even a roll of paper towel would have helped.

We went on both the Red and Green Routes. Both were excellent. The English commentary was very informative, the drivers were very skilled and the company was well organized. With so many competing companies using similar names, it can get quite confusing finding he right bus, but there were representatives at all the major stops to help you find your way. The only disappointment was that we missed the 4:00 boat tour by just minutes. The 4:30 boat was cancelled due to an issue with one of the boats being taken out of service. This meant we would have had to wait an hour with no place to sit near the dock. Needless to say we walked back to the hotel.

Good to have the 2 interlinking circuits showing different aspects of this very interesting and diverse city. Dual commentary on the Wall and Lifestyle tour (B) made this one more interesting than the monologue of the Traditional tour (A). With frequent and some rather long driver stops - start early in the day to complete both circuits!
