Make your own way to the dune buggy station, situated in an easily accessible desert location outside the city.
On arrival, meet your instructor-guide, and start your 3-hour experience by putting on your helmet and goggles. Listen to a safety briefing, and then hop inside your state-of-the-art Polaris RZR 1000cc dune buggy.
Whether you’re new to buggies or an experienced driver, get instructions on handling your vehicle, and listen to the rules for driving in the desert.
Your instructor-guide will tailor your route according to your skill level, and those of others also driving, and talk you through what’s ahead. If you simply want to ride a buggy as a passenger, this can also be arranged.
Take some practice runs on the sands, and when you’re ready, set off into the desert behind your guide vehicle.
Cruise across the sands, and follow a trail across low, rolling hills and onto higher dunes. Rev your engine and pick up speed as your confidence builds, and stop along the way to refresh your thirst with sodas or bottled water. Afterward, race back to the station, taking in the vastness of the desert around you as you rip across the terrain.
Arrive back at camp, hop out of your buggy, and relax and refuel with another ice-cold soda or water. Your 3-hour experience then concludes when you leave the buggy base.
