My 10- and 8-year olds and I loved this tour. We found it worthwhile to do the upgrade to “Gold” which includes the cheese fondue tasting and the panoramic train ride. We wish there was more time to spend at the gift shop after the Cailler tour ended, and some time to eat a proper lunch. While the cheese fondue experience was fun, it wasn’t a full meal, and by the time we had an hour to spend on our own in Gruyères, it was 2 pm, and we wanted to spend the time there (only 45-60 mins) exploring. The tour guide, Maggie, was excellent and the ride was comfortable. Overall, a day well spent!

So many things packed into one day! First of all, our tour guide (Maggie) was excellent - very knowledgeable, kind and well organized. The chocolate factory was excellent, as was the cheese factory. Fondue up in the mountains was great too. It was overcast, so the view on the train was not as good as I hoped and the visit to Gruyeres was chilly, but we can't control the weather.

Day well spent with a great guide (can't remember lady's name correctly - Orlanda) and driver (José) Cailler chocolate factory was great if you are a big fan of Swiss chocolates. Gruyere factory was not that much interesting. Lunch (if selected as part of the package) was excellent (Cheese Fondue). Train ride on the panoramic train is worth doing as well.

An excellent full day trip of cheese and chocolate tasting. The tour was 40 people on a very comfortable bus with a very knowledgeable tour guide. During the ride there were excellent views of the Swiss countryside. At the chocolate factory there was a fun interactive tour followed by all you can eat chocolate tastings. Then an immersive cheese tasting with fondue at an alpine dairy farm.
