Make your way to the seaside town of Rapallo, not far from Santa Margherita Ligure on the Italian Riviera, where you'll meet your guide in the train station and set out on a walking tour of the pretty town.
After your walk, head for the port to climb into a boat that will take you on a half-hour trip out into the Tigullio Gulf to Portofino, one of the jewels of the Italian coast. There, you'll get another walking tour before you'll have some time to spend at your leisure in this picturesque port town. Browse the charming shops, stop for a bite to eat (own expense), or simply stroll through the colorful streets – while always on the lookout for celebrities.
The next stop is vibrant Santa Margherita Ligure, about 15 minutes away, where you'll visit the 17th-century Baroque basilica and 16th-century castle and walk through the historic city center. At the conclusion of your visit in Santa Margherita Ligure, you can choose to stay in the town for an extended visit on your own or to head back to nearby Rapallo.
