Departure Time

8:00 AM
Depart Goa cruise port or your chosen Goa location by air-conditioned minivan and travel to Se Cathedral, old Goa’s most imposing church and Asia’s biggest. Known for its five bells, including the famous Golden Bell, this church is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, and boasts a spectacular vaulted interior.

Continue to the 16th-century Basilica of Bom Jesus, Goa’s best-known church. Admire this ornate UNESCO-listed church and see its prized treasure — the 17th-century silver casket containing the remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Next, head for 17th-century St. Francis of Assisi Church to see its interior paintings and Manueline-style architecture.

Stop at the Shri Shantadurga Temple that belongs to the Goud Saraswat Brahmin community for a look at the Hindu religion.

Then continue to the Sahakari Spice Farm, a lush garden specializing in the cultivation of spices and herbs. Enjoy a guided stroll to discover the exotic plants growing here, and a break for lunch (included).

The final stop is Goa's Fontainhas Latin Quarter for a look at the old Portuguese homes, winding streets, quaint shops, bakeries, and restaurants.

Your tour concludes with a drop-off at Goa port or another location of your choice.

Everything was excellent. Our guide met the six of us promptly even though he had to wait for us to exit immigration. He took us to all of the highlights of Goa, both old and new. Our tour at the Spice Plantation and lunch were excellent. Our guide and driver were conscious of the time and safely got us back to the ship in plenty of time.

It was quite an experience to see how Christian churches coexist alongside Hindu temples. We were lucky to have a well informed guide who told us many interesting stories about the history of the place.

We were met on time at Goa port by a driver and guide. The vehicle was and air conditioned personnel carrier. There was only five of us in the group. The guide had a good knowledge of Goa history. We visited a number of temples built by different ruling dynasties. This was followed by a lunch which was disappointing to us and could have been omitted from the tour Finally we had an interesting visit and tour to a spice plantation A pleasant way to see Goa on a short visit

We took this tour by ourselves. The spice plantation was very interesting and got to see the resident elephant. We enjoyed a lovely lunch there as well. Our tour guide drove us around Goa. Enjoyed the Kingfisher beer as well. The only downfall was our own expectation of Goa. When watching the Bourne Movie 2 with Matt Damon we were expecting a little more excitement, like in the movie. Goa is lovely, probably would have been different if we would have a beach tour instead. But we still enjoyed our tour. Tour guide and driver were very good.
