Stunning Natural Beauty of Ninh Binh

We really enjoyed our trip to Ninh Binh. Green was a great guide, his English was excellent and he was very enthusiastic. Instead of the Dancing Cave, we hiked up the Lying Dragon mountain. It was an awesome view, the river looked beautiful. The cycling trip was very short, about 20 minutes. It had about a kilometre on a busy road. Our favorite part was the Boat Ride on the Tam Coc River. We got to relax while a woman paddles our boat with her feet. The river snaked through a stunning valley, and went through three caves. I took my family of four, a 13 and 11 year old. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Booked this tour as was excited to get out in the open away from Hanoi and the chaos at least for a day! Communication was good, our guide Tony was a superstar! Very good communication via WhatsApp and very funny. He advised us when he was arriving and would send updates all the time. It’s about a 90 minute drive to ninh Binh with a toilet rest break. The day was set out good, lots to do and interesting facts. The climbing of the steps is exhausting but so worth it. Definitely book this tour - great day!

Great Day

Had a great time on this tour. Started out going on a tour of Nihn Bihn to learn a bit about it's history and temples. From there, we took a quick bike ride to a scenic area for some photos. Lunch was a buffett with various options and is fairly decent. After this, we went to Tam Coc for a boat ride (think banana boat with dedicated rower who you may tip at the end) which was relaxing. You go through some caves and see some cool limestone formations and if you time it right (want to say Spring time) then you will get some great shots of the rice stalks. Our last stop was the Dragon temple which is 550 steps to the top. Great workout and you will be rewarded with awesome sunset photos.

Nice boat ride and great panoramic view

Day trip covering 3 places wasn’t as rush as we thought it would be. Enjoyed the nice leisurely boat ride in Tam Co. The 500-step climb at Mua Cave was quite tiring but manageable and the panoramic view at the top was worth it.

A must visit destination. Quan is the energetic tour guide with well knowledge and English spoken. We had a wonderful experience and having a go with the unique foot rowing style that I think that practice in Tam Coc. Awesome.

Overpriced

Tourists are being treated like we haven’t traveled before. The joke with the tips must stop at some point. Difficult to understand tour-guide’s English. Below average food. Overpriced. Not recommended.
