After making your own way to Yau Ma Tei MTR to meet your guide, head over to Temple Street Night Market to start your evening stroll around Hong Kong.

The Temple Street Night Market provides fertile ground for a favorite Hong Kong pastime: meandering through the street bazaar to watch fortune-tellers and street performers, see locals bargaining for items and browse a variety of vendors who sell everything from jade and antiques to electronics and clothing.

Next up, enjoy the tranquility of two nearby parks. First, walk through the leafy grounds of a park that is a gathering place for local Nepalese and South Asian communities. Then continue over to the largest park on the Kowloon peninsula where your guide takes you to a tucked-away lookout point where you can enjoy fantastic views of the skyline. Learn about the region’s history as your guide describes the small fishing villages that once dotted this coast.

Dive back into city life by walking past a dizzying array of multimillion-dollar stores that sell premium international fashion brands. Then stop at two legendary locales that are polar opposites: the luxurious Peninsula Hong Kong hotel, aka the ‘Grande Dame of the Far East,’ which is famous for its fine amenities and service; followed by Chungking Mansions, a sprawling complex known for low-cost accommodations and shops patronized by many of the city’s multinational residents.

Your 3-hour tour ends after your stop at Chungking Mansions. Your guide can help you with directions to your hotel or can recommend great bars with skyline views if you like.
Itinerary
Stop At:
Temple Street Night Market
Kick off your Hong Kong tour as night falls with a visit to the Temple Street Night Market, where fortune tellers, street musicians, and souvenir sellers beckon. Once upon a time (ahem, before TV and the internet), going to the markets after dinner was a popular Hong Kong evening pastime; the Temple Street Night Market is the only market left from those days, and is worth a visit not only for its arts and crafts and tech gadgets, but also for a bit of Hong Kong cultural nostalgia.

Stop At:
Kowloon Park
Next up, take a break from the market crowds with a trip to the park. Actually, make that a couple of parks, and yes, they’re even better at night. You’ll visit a local park that’s popular among the neighbourhood’s Nepalese and South Asian communities, then venture into the biggest park on the Kowloon peninsula. Get a taste of tranquility and serenity amid the lights and sound of the city (but beware the flamingos). After that, you’ll head to a secret lookout where you’ll get a spectacular view of the Hong Kong skyline.
Admission Ticket Free
Stop At:
Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
After soaking up those iconic views, you’ll see where Hong Kong meets mainland China, bullet-train style, with a visit to the newly completed high speed railway terminal. You’re looking at the most expensive railway ever built on earth (per kilometre, Hong Kong section only). We’ll hop aboard to check out the sleek design and state of the art features.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At:
Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District
Next stop, we will visit an impressive theatre building specialized in showcasing live performances of traditional Chinese Opera and learn about how it fits into West Kowloon’s cultural district. This happens to be the world’s largest arts district (or it will be once it’s finished). And while you are here, feel free to buy a ticket for a show you would like to catch during your stay in town!
Duration: 20 minutes
Admission Ticket Free
Stop At:
Canton Road
After that, your Hong Kong tour will head to a busy street where major fashion brands have set up shop in multi-million-dollar flagship stores. We’ll do some window shopping and talk about the importance of commerce in the city.
Duration: 20 minutes
Admission Ticket Free
Stop At:
The Peninsula
Then, we’ll keep the luxe theme going with a visit to two Hong Kong legends: the Peninsula Hotel (bit of trivia for you: the Peninsula secured its fleet of Rolls Royce Phantoms with the largest order ever made in the history of Rolls Royce)
Duration: 20 minutes
Admission Ticket Free
Stop At:
Chungking Mansions
Chung King Mansion, which was named the “Best Example of Globalization in Action” by Time magazine and has been dubbed the “most globalized building in the world.” And if you don’t want your night to end yet, ask your guide to recommend the best skyline bar in town, or take a ride across the harbour to Hong Kong Island. The night’s still young — trust us.

I had this night walking tour 2 years ago with a friend 2 years ago and we did enjoyed the tour a lot. This time i took with me my sister, daughter and granddaughter. As expected, they enjoyed the tour as i did for my second time. I had Danny Fung twice for the tour. His character haven't change. He is still pleasant, courteous, patient and mostly knowlegeable about HongKong history from the past to present. Sa mga Kababayan ko, kung gusto niyo makita ang loob ng Hongkong sa Kowloon side na kasama ang mga bagay-bagay na pangdagdag kaalaman, itong ang lakad na ang magugustuhan ninyo.

Danny was a brilliant tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. From this tour I learnt facts and saw parts of Hong Kong that I wouldn't have done had I explored these areas myself. Danny can also recommend some great places to see great views of the Skyline. Great tour guide and fun tour!

Had a great time seeing parts of the city that we otherwise would have probably missed. The tour guide was awesome and since we were the only two people on the tour that night also showed us some good local cuisine we hadn't eaten. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very disappointed! The tour guide taking to many smoking break and for this type of tour they need to provide headset for each participant so you can able to hear what the tour guide was saying.

After walking all over Hong Kong...
gasandgyn
, Jul 2016
After walking all over Hong Kong during the day, it was a little anticlimactic to walk some of the same places at night. The guide was difficult to understand and he walked like he was on a race. He would set off and not look back. Would not give much time to take pictures and seemed a tad bored to be doing this tour. Wouldn't do it again.
