  • Learn about the area’s history, geology and ecology from your naturalist guide
This tour begins at your Jackson hotel when you meet your professional guide, before boarding a comfortable, air-conditioned coach for the drive to Grand Teton National Park. After just a 30-minute drive north, through the valley of Jackson Hole, you’ll arrive at this world-renowned national park just 10 miles (16km) south of Yellowstone.
As you approach Grand Teton National Park, the first thing you’ll notice are the jagged peaks of Wyoming’s Teton Range as they cut across the sky. Upon entering Grand Teton National Park (entrance fee not included), your first stop will be at the historic Chapel of the Transfiguration — a cabin built in 1925 that originally accommodated guests and staff from the handful of nearby dude ranches.
From here you’ll continue to Menor’s Ferry, an historic ferry service across the Snake River that’s run since the late 1800s. It’s here where you’ll also see Maud Noble’s Cabin, a homestead where your guide will explain the lives of Wyoming’s early settlers.
With a healthy dose of Wyoming history now under your belt, you can really start to experience the legendary beauty that makes the national park famous. Stroll down the shores of Jenny Lake with its crystal-clear, alpine waters, and hear the stories of pioneering mountain men who crossed and conquered the Tetons.
You’ll stop to eat at a comfortable lodge where you can choose from various lunch options (own expense), before venturing out to Jackson Lake to absorb the alpine scenery. While here, listen as your guide explains how the park has dozens of species of mammals, as well as 300 bird species, and 1,000 species of plants.
Before you return to your Jackson Hotel, you’ll stop at the Colter Bay Visitor Center, where you can casually peruse a vast array of American Indian artifacts. On the drive back through Jackson Hole, keep your eyes peeled around the Oxbow Bend where it’s common to spot moose or deer.

A must see! The guide was awesome and made the trip fun and educational. Saw lots of wildlife too, we had ample time to admire the beautiful scenery

What a wonderful way to see so much of Grand Teton National Park in a short period of time! I took my parents on a trip to Jackson Hole this summer, and this tour was perfect for all of us. Our guide, Mike Spotts (ask for him by name!) was a phenomenal resource and the BEST tour guide any of us had ever had. He took us to spectacular spots off the beaten path - places we never would have found on our own! He also knew more about the area than any of the other tour guides we had during our trip. The natural beauty in the park was incredible and Mike's commentary enhanced the experience tenfold.

Mike provided an outstanding tour of Teton National Park and took us to areas in the park that few would know existed. I will never forget the beauty!

Totally disappointed with this tour. For the money it is not worth it. Started out with company overbooking the tour, couple gave up their seats so a family of 6 could go. Refused to get them back to their hotel. No mike for the tour driver, so he only spoke to the 4 people who were up front near him, the rest of us got nothing. he didn't really offer anything either. Drove like crazy through the park, stopped at the photo areas, said you have 20 minutes. So, the whole day was spent stopping quickly at photo areas and then back into the bus. Not informative about the tour or the area. Would NOT recommend using this company.

In spite of smoke and haze from forest fires in neighboring states, we had a lot of fun on this tour. Our guide, Mike, did a yeoman's job of making the tour a success. Early in the day, he decided that, if the haze was going to obstruct the view of the mountains, then it was going to be a search for wild life. And, did we ever search. He took lots of back roads looking for bison and anything else that might be out and about. And, along the way we saw beautiful scenery and slowly clearing views of the Tetons. Just when our hopes of seeing bison we dimming, Mike took another back road. WOW! We almost ran into the bison. A heard of at least 50, my husband was counting, were literally hoofing if across the road. Some were almost close enough to talk to, but they weren't very talkative. A couple stopped to look at us! I guess we were wild life to them. We stopped at a little river just, for a picture op, and spent 15 minutes with a magnificent bald eagle. And on the way home we found a moose nibbling along a stream. Then we turned back to the lake. The smoke had cleared and we took in the grandeur of the cathedral group rising in high jagged peaks across the sky and mirrored in the lake. One of the best 8 hours we ever spent.

Loved this tour! That Grand Tetons are a beautiful sight to behold. The weather was absolutely breathtaking and this day trip was a photographer's delight.

This was such a wonderful day - seeing all the iconic vistas was a dream come true. Jesse shared so much history of Jackson Hole and our favorite experience was being up top on Signal Mountain. So glad the beauty is being preserved and we felt privileged to share our time with other travelers. Seeing the wildlife up close makes you feel like a kid again.

We had a great time on our trip. The scenery was breathtaking, the tour was well planned, and the guide interesting and informative. We saw things and visited places we would never have seen had we tried to make this tour on our own. Our tour guide was excellent. He suggested places to take photos and even used our camera to take photos of me and my wife. Overall it was a memorable experience I'd recommend.

Our guide Bob was fantastic! Knowledgeable and with a great passion for the beauty and history around us, Bob was everything you would wish for and more! The group was small and ready for adventure so as a whole we had a blast. We enjoyed all of the stops along the way and lunch overlooking the lake was spectacular. We learned so much about the creation and history of this gorgeous park and definitely walked away with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Grand Teton National Park.

Our original tour for the 19th June was cancelled at the last minute, and an alternate tour was given for the 20th June. Whilst this tour was very good and our tour guide, Vivienne, was excellent and informative, our only criticism was that we were told to be ready for 7 am so that we had a better chance of seeing the wildlife. However, we were taken to a historical site and then on to a boat trip and only went to search for wildlife after lunch. Whilst we know there are no guarantees of seeing any wildlife, this was not what we expected.
