What more could ya want? As soon as we boarded the lil boat we were granted a first hand view of a momma humpback and her calf. Was quite the experience. The crab feast was delicious and plentiful.

This was a great adventure for our family of 5. It was raining in Ketchikan when we arrived, so we really appreciated boarding our nice comfy bus to a covered spectacular boat ride. The Lodge has the most amazing garden walk and the seafood feast was so delicious. All of our guides were very knowledgeable, fun, and gracious. We enjoyed seeing many bald eagles, sea lions, and even a deer.

We had the pleasure on going on this tour. They picked us up right at the dock in a bus and then took us to the place where we took a little boat to the restaurant and hiking. On the bus they gave you some interesting facts about the island. Once you get there you pick up the boat. There is a steep ramp that you walk down. The views in the area are beautiful. Then they throw herring into the water and you watch the eagles swoop in to eat it. Very cool. You get on the boat for a short ride and see seals basking in the sun. You get off and then walk up a steep ramp and take a hike (really just a 15 minute walk) through the woods. Afterwards you have seafood boil. It is definitely fresh. The garlic bread is the best. You are eating family style with others. They serve water, tea and juice. At the end you get back on board and head back to pick up your bus.We had Emee and she was absolutely delightful and shared many different facts. I would definitely suggest this tour. We did the totem pole tour afterwards and this was 10X better. Just take a cab to the Totem poles and pay the $5.00 entrance fee.

Terrific time. Seeing eagles dive in the air and pick up fish was incredible. Fantastic scenery, great meal, and friendly, knowledgeable guides and associates made for a great afternoon. Greatly enjoyed the walk through the rain forest. Boat was very good. Driver stopped for interesting sights including seeing a deer swimming in the ocean. Josh, John, Sonny, Emeri, and Austin were magnificent!
