  • Your tour highlights how Los Angeles is a patchwork of communities formed by immigrants that looked for a new opportunity in America. Nearly every nationality has a little enclave in the greater Los Angeles area and your tour visits Koreatown, Little Armenia, and Thai Town. Visiting these communities allows you to learn from their culture and taste the great food they brought to the city. All the vendors come from the country they represent and are family owned and operated.
  • Your visit to the Spicy BBQ is so unique that if the tour is sold out, so is the restaurant. Therefore we agreed to visit the restaurant at a time that wouldn't conflict with the owner's normal business hours.
  • The communities you visit during the tour are all battling with gentrification and your visit helps to prove that the current communities have to stay to maintain the diversity that LA is known for.
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

We were on this tour on a super hot day but it was still fun. The food was amazing. We couldn't forget about the Thai restaurant that we visited. Highly recommend to others who like Asian food.

We did this tour on New Year's Eve...

We did this tour on New Year's Eve and were thankful that the tour company was able to accommodate us even though it was the day before a major holiday and we were the only two that had signed up that day. Pip, our tour guide, was great and knowledgeable about the eateries and restaurants we visited in each neighborhood. He showed us around like an old friend and pointed out the landmarks we walked past. We had a glimpse of Chinatown, Thai Town, Korea Town, and LIttle Armenia, and sampled a handful of Korean, Thai, and Armenian snacks and dishes. The tour was a fantastic way to see the range of ethnic foods that LA has and the various neighborhoods around downtown. Would highly recommend this tour if you're a foodie and looking to eat your way through LA.
