Overview

Come to shore at Nassau for a 9-hour powerboat excursion to the Exumas. Escape the city for perfect beaches, brilliant coral and a remarkable archipelago. Take a walk on the white sand, slip into clear water or take a guided snorkel over the island’s sheltered reef. Enjoy a Caribbean lunch, sip a frozen drink then nibble fresh fruit as you watch a traditional Bahamian conch salad show. Watch the afternoon slip by while you take in the unspoiled beauty of a private tropical island.
  • Shore excursion from Nassau to the Exumas
  • Ride aboard the high-speed powerboat
  • Spend the day exploring less-visited Bahamian islands
  • Lunch and open bar included
  • Round-trip transportation to a location near the cruise port
  • Covered by Viator's worry-free policy: guaranteed on time return to your ship
Following pickup at Hilton British Colonial Hotel near the cruise port, transfer to the marina and board the powerboat for an adventurous day exploring some less-visited Bahamian islands.

Stroll the shores or make use of the complimentary snorkel equipment to explore the undersea world. Float over coral reefs, see tiny fish feeding on the underwater plant life or feed the local stingrays and sharks with your guide.

Grab a drink from the island bar, then dig into a lunch of island grouper, salads, bread, chargrilled steak and tropical fruit platters. Observe the preparation of a fresh Bahamian conch salad, a staple dish in the Bahamas, then taste the results.

At the conclusion of your day exploring, return to the Hilton British Colonial Hotel for port drop-off.

Please note: this shore excursion requires a minimum of 4 passengers for pickup at the Hilton British Colonial Hotel

Worry-free Shore Excursion:

We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to Nassau for your ship’s departure. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.

This was a fantastic excursion full of fun, food, entertainment and great customer service! We left the cruise ship and experienced await for transportation from the hotel , but once we were taken to the dock at margauritaville everything was great. Shout out to Ramen and crew for taking good care of us! Great value for the trip.

I called the Exuma Powerboat...

I called the Exuma Powerboat Adventure the day before to confirm that they would be picking us up at the hotel. They informed me that they did not have a reservation for us on that day. She asked me who I had booked with and I told her Viator. She stated that when people book excursions with Viator, that the company forgets that they have to send them the reservation to book it. She informed me that she only had 1 seat available for that day and since we needed 3 seats, we had to reschedule for another day. We were able to book for the next day. The excursion itself was very enjoyable and the people were great.

This trip was so amazing I don't even...

This trip was so amazing I don't even know where to begin. This was the most beautiful place I've EVER been. I've done a lot of awesome excursions but this one by far surpasses all of them. If you're not interested in getting up close and personal with iguanas, stingrays and sharks, this trip isn't for you. We took about 1 1/2 hr boat ride to a private Island and fed iguanas. There were probably literally 100 iguanas on the beach when we pulled up. The water is beyond beautiful. After about 30 min there, we went to a different spot called Ship Channel Cay, which was even more beautiful. We spent the later morning/afternoon hand feeding stingrays and playing with them, then the staff wrangled sharks right in front of you!! Snorkeling came next and it was so amazing! After snorkeling, we were fed a scrumptious lunch. Mind you, there's an open bar the WHOLE time. Then, after lunch, they do a demonstration on how to make a Bahamian Conch Salad. That was delicious too. Jason was extraordinary and actually took a private video for me on my phone of sharks feeding in a school of fish. He also took my camera on our snorkeling outing and got some amazing pictures.I was hesitant because of the price but I will DEFINITELY do this again if I'm in Nassau. It was worth EVERY penny!

This is the best excursion on Nassau! Water is amazing, feeding iguanas is super cool and the stingrays and sharks are amazing. We plan to do the day trip again if we ever go back to Nassau.

It was a very fun and exciting trip! Staff was professional, friendly and lots of fun! Food was excellent and best of all, all the alcohol drinks you wanted!! Recommend they get beach or lounge chairs for the beach area. Also, bring something warm to wear on the way out and back. Wind from power boat ride can get chilly.

This was a great day trip! Close up stingrays and sharks! Great first time snorkeling experience - sharks swam right past us! The guides and leaders know their stuff and have a great sense of humor. The meal was quite the spread and everything tasted fantastic. Highly recommend.

Cons: Had to wait over an hour...

Cons: Had to wait over an hour at the Hilton Hotel to get picked up for the tour. Pros: Everything else!! Feeding the stingrays from the shore, watching them feed the sharks, a drift snorkel and a delicious grouper lunch, we couldn't ask for a better day! Tips: When they say they are going to start feeding the sharks grab your camera and wrap the string around your wrist! One lady dropped hers when she jumped back!
