Perfect small group tour. Our host was so knowledgeable! Such hallowed grounds and sobering lessons. I highly recommend!

I wish I could remember our guide's name. He was thoughtful, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. There was no question he couldn't answer and expand upon.

Fabulous trip to Normandy with my daughter. Oliver was a tremendous guide and is both highly knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend.
Exceeding Expectations

Our tour guide was well educated regarding the subject matter, history and small details that are not found in any book or news reel about the D-Day landing g in Normandy. We chose Viator based on our Vatican tour we booked last year.

A Moving Visit to Normandy
, Dec 2019
This tour fills a long day but is entirely worthwhile. Our guide was the perfect host-- engaging and sometimes charismatic, knowledge and informative, fully responsive to all questions, and anticipating all of the group's needs. The visit to the cemetery is sad and chilling and entirely worth a day's time commitment.
Everyone Should Visit Normandy Once
, Dec 2019
We visited Paris over Thanksgiving break to avoid a lot of the crowds and we hit the jackpot. My wife and I took our three kids ages 10, 13 and 16. Our guide Nissa was amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very well informed on all aspects of WWII to include, planning, strategy, troop commands, local support and overall impacts of every detail. We had great weather for early December. The sun was out and we couldn't have asked for a better day. We hit all of the major stops that Americans want to see, Omaha, Pointe du Hoc, and the American cemetery. It is about a 3 hour drive each way, but we stopped half way going and coming. There are bathrooms and a place to get breakfast which was great since we had the kids with us. We also stopped for lunch and had some local French fare, but they also have burgers, salads and steaks if you are a little less adventurous. This was a very humbling and spiritual place to visit. If your are on the fence about spending a whole day going to Normandy, you must make this trip. This was by far my favorite day trip on our visit to France. Everyone should visit Normandy at least once. I was worried about the kids making it all day, but they held up great. The only thing I might do different is book a private tour that picked us up at the house we rented to avoid travelling to and from the pick up point, but it was really easy to meet up with our guide at the pick up point. It just adds an extra step when you are travelling with kids.
Great Day Trip to Normandy
, Dec 2019
This was our fist time using Viator for a tour after debating if we should rent a car and see the sites on our own. The tour guides arrived promptly at the time promised. The drive to our site was long as we were well aware so we were able to rest on the drive to Normandy. We had a quick stop on our journey to use the facilities and get a snack and then hop back in for the remainder of our drive. We visited in the end of November so it was very cold but not raining fortunately, so bundle up and dress in layers if visiting this time of year. Our driver/tour guide was very knowledgable and was great at answering any questions we had along the way. My favorite part was his story telling, it was like we went back in time and could envision what had sadly taken place at that time in Normandy. We were very glad we did this tour and highly recommend it!

We had an excellent tour with Guillaume of Blue Fox Tours. The van was comfortable, we departed and arrived on time. His depth of knowledge about the area was informative and he made June 6, 1944 come to life. We highly recommend this tour and would do others with him,
Great time!

Had a wonderful time on our tour of Normandy D-Day Beaches Day Trip. Very informative and loved that there was only 6 of us in the group. Felt we had more time to ask question and hear the information more clearly.
