Fantastic day away from the crowds!

Omg! This is a long overdue review! We had an amazing time on this private excursion. We started with the lazy river, which was refreshing and beautiful. Lunch was at a local restaurant in Tulum. We were introduced to Birria ... cannot believe we haven't eaten this prior. All of the food was wonderful. Finished with site seeing at a newly, and currently, excavated Maya site. It's still a work in progress, but amazing to see it as the jungle overtook the site and the progress made thus far. What a great day!

Unique and varied experience

Our Sian Kaan Muyil Lazy River Tour was a great experience. Salvador guided us first through the Muyil ruins, which are fascinating to explore in their jungle setting. We were then taken by boat across 2 lagoons, connected by a narrow, winding man-made canal through the mangroves, before jumping into the "lazy river" and floating peacefully along - a unique experience. Salvador then took us to a small restaurant with an authentic local feel, where we enjoyed some typical Mexican dishes. Many thanks Salvador - it was a great day.

Nice lazy tour and pretty nature

We hadn’t really understood the concept but this is what we did: went on a boat, floated in the Mayan channels, walked back maybe 10 minutes to the boat, took the boat back to the shore. Drove to the archeological site, had a look and drove to the restaurant nearby. The lunch was good and the atmosphere nice. The guide was kind to take pictures and share them for free. This was a very nice lazy tour!

We had such an amazing time on this tour! Salvador was very sweet and informative on the ruins and the ecosystem and he even brought us homemade empanadas! The photos he took during the tour came out amazing too! Highly recommend!

Great and quiet private tour

We had a great private tour with Salvador! He is very knowledgeable, friendly and laid back. We booked rather late but it was no problem! Easy communication with no issues. Salvador took lots of pictures (which was shared with us online) and we had some very tasty mini bananas and mangos that was provided during our excursion. The Muyil ruins were very interesting and the river float was amazing! There were almost no people around either which made it even nicer. Would definitely recommend this tour and company. Thanks Salvador!

I am very happy I chose this trip to Muyil lagoon, its probably one of the prettiest outings I’ve done. Salvador was a great guide I would definitely do it again next time in Tulum

Salvador was an amazing guide, super sweet with our little daughter and has an amazing knowledge about history and nature. I would say that this is a must do tour.
