‘An experienced not to be missed’

Our third time at Bunratty Medieval night, all the way from New Zealand, and it won’t be our last. We bought friends with us this time and they thought it was fabulous too.
The food was ok and sufficient in qty but the room was too small for the amount of people crammed in their with only one A/C to cool the room. If you were not in the direct path, it was hot and stuffy. We left before dessert was served as it became unbearable.
We were probably a bit sceptical about the banquet, but I have to say the quality of the entertainment was fantastic. The singers were excellent and the food was delicious and plenty of it, and wine!!! I would highly recommend going early to have a look around the folk park before hand.
A fun family evening. We had expected it to be more entertaining, however we did enjoy the singers and the food was good too. Perhaps there is a better banquet for young families? This was very low key but well done.
