Select your tour option when you book, and choose from the available early evening departure times. Then, on the day, meet your guide at your St. Petersburg hotel, and relax as you’re whisked to the departure pier on the River Neva.
On arrival, step aboard your comfortable private canal boat with your guide, and enjoy your first glimpses of St. Petersburg from the water as you set sail. Built on 42 islands, this beautiful city is criss-crossed with rivers and man-made canals that mark out its different neighborhoods, and give it its nickname of the ‘Venice of the North.’
Enjoy the cityscapes as dusk falls, and follow a classic sightseeing route, navigating along the Neva to the Fontanka and Moika Rivers, and the Kryukov Canal. Soak in panoramas of must-sees like Vasilyevsky Island and the Peter and Paul Fortress, and glide by landmarks such as St. Nicholas Cathedral, St. Michael’s Castle (Mikhailovsky Castle), and more.
Admire other sights like the Mariinsky Palace and St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and have your camera ready as you sail under some of the city’s most beautiful bridges.
Hear fascinating facts and stories about the sights from your guide, who will provide interesting live commentary throughout. Plus, enjoy the extra sparkle of a glass of Champagne (if option selected) as you sail.
After your 1-hour cruise, arrive back at the starting dock and enjoy a convenient drop-off at your hotel, ending your tour.
Please note: departure times later in the evening are available for an additional cost.
