The guide will pick you up at your hotel in Swakopmund , to start a tour of the Mondesa district. Mondesa was the exiled neighborhood where blacks were sidelined during apartheid , while whites and rich were concentrated in the city center. Although the system of racial segregation was abolished in 1991, it is still possible today to observe the traces of this dark part of history.
