Meegan was an awesome tour guide. She was very informative throughout the day. She was also very patient when the occasion required. Not sure how we could have found a better guide for our day in Tauranga!

We found this tour to be an extremely informative and interesting tour. Arrived at Tauranga by cruise ship. The highlights of the tour included visiting a Kiwi Fruit farm and tasting Kiwi fruit Ice Cream, waterfalls, the Geysers, seeing Kiwi Birds and the Maori Cultural Show. Thank you Simon and Baz for a great day out.

We really enjoyed this tour with Guy, our driver/guide. Throughout the day he provided detailed information about the history of the Maori people as well as current information on New Zealand. The Maori cultural show was very entertaining. We watched the kayakers challenge the rapids at Okere Falls and toured the kiwi growing area. We highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Rotorua and Te Puia; independent tour guide not so much...

Sites visited were great, however, driver/guide not so much. There were only four of us on this tour and, unfortunately, the guide concentrated mainly on the other couple. My husband has a slight walking disability and the guide constantly left us behind and accompanied the other couple almost exclusively. At the kiwi house he was admonished by another visitor for pushing his way through in the dark. Rotorua, Te Puia, and Maori Cultural Show (5 stars) are a must see when in the area, however, we just can't recommend this particular tour (0 stars).

I am sorry for the delay in responding, but I have only just noticed your review. I have tried to find the tour you did so that I could see who your guide was but I cannot find any tour that matches your description. I am left wondering if you did the tour with a different company? If you did travel with us, then I am very sorry that your day was disappointing, but I think you must have mixed us up with another operator.

Simon was a great tour guide. The Maori Cultural Show was nice, it was rainy this day so some of the show, which is usually held outdoors, had to be all done indoors. This tour would have been better with a sunny day, but still good.

It was an all day excursion, but we could have stayed hours more! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at an incredible kiwi farm and of course had a kiwi ice cream. Seeing the Maori culture show was great and inspiring. Topping it all off with seeing the gyeser spewing and the gyser pools bubbling plus all the greenery and almost seeing kiwi birds at Rotorua. Stopped for pictures along the way at such a picturesque beach and saw rapids on a river. Spectacular day and would highly recommend it!

I am looking forward to tasting the Golden Kiwi Fruit some day in the USA. We enjoyed seeing first hand how they are growing the Kiwi Fruit and getting a fresh sample to taste. We learned about the local plants while viewing the Okere Falls. It was a secluded spot and it seemed like we were the only people there. The Geothermal Valley was an amazing site. Best of all the Maori Cultural Show. The performers displayed their passion for us. Best of all, our guide. She was the best guide we have ever had on any trip.
