Vergina Half Day Private Tour from Thessaloniki

Not widely known archaeological gem, a must see for all archeology and history enthusiasts if in Thessaloniki! Comfortable drive in the limousine, however, our driver spoke no English and was not able to converse let alone share any information on the tour and the site, as described in the offer. She dropped us off in front of the site and asked us to come back 1h later then the hours the tour description stated, we had to take this up with her in sign language to make sure our tour was not shortened. When we came out, we still had some time for the souvenir shop across the street and she waited aside but seemed quite inpatient to get us in the car and go. Offered some nice fruit as refreshments though. On the ride back seemed in the hurry to get back and was speeding most of the time. All in all, it is a comfortable luxury ride to the site, but don't expect anything extra. They don't speak any English and will try to hurry you back and shorten your visit, make sure not to let them do it and not to let them speed/safety issues. The site itself is amazing and practically deserted in the early morning until groups start coming in, worth the effort!
