I can’t say enough good things about Javi. Tailored the tour for us, moved at our pace, deeply knowledgeable local. There were other tour groups asking to come into the “secret” places Javi had access to like a synagogue in a basement or a cistern under the city. Highly recommend you book this tour if you don’t want to the 15th person on a playback tour.

Unforgettable tour with Javi

Javier Rodriguez guided us through the wonderful city of Toledo and introduced us to a world loaded with history and full of magic monuments. From the historic Jewish Quarter through Juan de Los Reyes Catholicos and from the exceptional church of Sto Tomé ( with the great El Greco masterpiece “ The burial of Conte d’Orgaz) to the most unbelievable Cathedral of Toledo- a monument that in my opinion is no less than San Peter in Rome. Javi was so knowledgeable and so kind to share with us his knowledge and passion for Toledo that it really enhanced our life experience. This was the greatest gift we received during our tour of Spain so far.

Our guide Irene, was incredible! A native from Toledo, Irene shared with us the history of Toledo and the love for her city. She was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. I highly recommend a guided tour because although the city is small, it’s not easy to find your way.
