We love to hike in the mountains surrounding Bergen. We have been walking a trail called Stolzekleiven sins we where children. It's a beautiful and short trail, but it's also a demanding challenge because of its steep climb. Perfect for everyday hiking, and not something most tourists get to experience while they are here. one the top of Stolzen there is a lake with fresh cold mountain water, where we like to cool off after we have reached the top. We will bring Towels.

We hike literally on top of Bergen and go off the beaten track through woods, past lakes, and on paths where we can hear the silence.
