Dahlia Popovits has been a professional designer and hand weaver for over 40 years, and is happy to teach a how to weave session, and to help the new weaver understand the technical and design choices available through weaving. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary. The space which is used to learn is in my gallery of hand made clothing and accessories, which is attached to my working studio. Our location is in the center of the Sowa Art and Design District, the home to numerous high end galleries and artists studios.
Fretish is New England's premier music instrument sharing service. Where musicians can play what they want, when they want, where they want. We'll start by selecting the music instrument you want to play. All instruments have been professionally set up, so you can be confident that the gear is in tune, with low action and a fresh set of strings. After your instrument is selected, confirm the date and time you wish to play. Fretish will hand deliver the instrument to you, within a 25 mile radius of Boston. Then, have fun. Play, record or simply admire your instrument. At the end of your rental period, we will pick up the instrument.

I am French-Togolese and I have lived over 10 years in each one of the European, African and North American continents. French is my first language and during my various travels and professional experiences I have learnt how the language is spoken differently according to every particular culture! I am born, lived, studied and worked in France. I have also loved French men :) Finally, I earned a French law degree. While living in the US, I was the go-to French tutor for my college friends coming from different US states and countries. My passion for sharing this beautiful language, typical French expressions, way of living and my culture kept growing. According to my audience, I have the expertise of knowing how to tailor a French class so the “student” can practice his every day skills and get ready for its next French live experience !
