During our day we will make our way along the Grand Loop Road. We will stop at several lesser known locations to see colorful hot springs and geysers. Spend the day looking for wildlife throughout Yellowstone, focusing on Yellowstone’s Northern loop. You will visit areas such as Lamar or Haden Valley for the chance to see bears, wolves, coyotes, bison, elk, and pronghorn. You will also explore river corridors, valleys, forests, and other habitats looking for other animals including, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, river otters, and other species. While traveling through these area you will also have a chance to enjoy the scenic vistas these animals call home. (This trip is your best chance to see a bear or wolf but no guarantees.)

For those wishing an alternative take on Glacier National Park, this tour takes guests up the North Fork Valley along the west flank of the park to the village of Polebridge. For those wishing to enter the park, there is an option to enter the park for a hike, or else enjoy one of the many scenic hiking options on our way up the valley. While in Polebridge, you'll have the opportunity to grab a home baked pastry or a full meal at the Northern Lights Saloon, where live music usually awaits.
Explore Glacier National Park's Wild and Scenic border river, the Middle Fork Flathead, with our highly trained, friendly, interpretive river guides. First, float a relaxing stretch of river. Trips depart rain or shine. Trips meet at 9:15am, 9:45am departure. No experience necessary. No maximum weight - must be able to buckle a 58" chest life jacket. Minimum age 5, minimum weight of 50 pounds. Minimums may be higher if river levels are higher, as they often are in the spring.

In late March through through late April the wildlife viewing experience goes off the charts as bears wake up from hibernation, elk/ bison give birth to vulnerable off spring, and wolves go on a feeding frenzy!
In addition to many grown bison, elk, and moose it is likely we will see grizzly bears feeding on carcasses, new born elk/ bison calves, and active wolf packs
Wolves were completely eradicated from the USA but in 1995 biologists restored wolves back to Yellowstone. This well suited habitat is also the best place in the world to view wolves
