Long trip to go there, great if you're passing
Ben H
, Aug 2019
We were collected over an hour late for this trip which didn't start the day off too well. We had a really long mini bus journey of just over two hours to the floating markets with just a driver, no guide talking about Thailand. The floating markets were good fun,, very touristy and we were a bit disappointed that the boat trip around the markets wasn't included. It was about 150bht each. After this we were put on boats to travel down through the market and along a river. We were then collected and taken to a restaurant. They were good and brought extra vegetarian options for my son and husband. After this we were taken to a cemetry where just us were dropped off for 20 mins, then collected by our guide who took us to the bridge over the river kwai. we were dropped at the Jeath museum and our admission wasn't included (this was only 50bht each) and told we had an hour to go round and then an hour to walk the 100m to the bridge. There were a few cafes to go in but not much else. To be honest we could have done both in 30 mins but I appreciate that after such a long drive it wouldn't have been worth it. The whole day was a bit disappointing and I don't think I would recommend it as a trip from Bangkok. However, if you were on your way to somewhere else and were passing they would both be worth popping in to see.

Pattaya Floating Market with Return Transfer | Mar 2020
The market itself is not really a floating market unless you call shops on stilts floating. There was no show when I went, it was very boring. Like paying to go to a mall really. The ad says hotel pickup and return, but I had to pay an extra 100 Baht for the that and the pickup was 30 minutes late. Had I known all this in advance, I would never have wasted my morning.

Simon Cabaret Show at Phuket with Return Transfer | Mar 2020
There was never a dull moment. There's a bar right outside the theater for the pre-game, and the actual show was phenomenal. Cover songs for all over the world.

Phuket City Tour: Karon View Point, Big Buddha & Wat Chalong (Multi Languages) | Mar 2020
The tour was on time and ran smoothly. The tour guide was good fun and very knowledgable. We got dropped off at Phuket weekend night market which saved us 650 baht too! Well worth going on this trip to see the main sights.

Khlong Lat Mayom & Taling Chan Local Floating Markets Tour (Multi Languages) | Mar 2020
The tour was a great morning of seeing and tasting local foods at a local market. Plenty of options to try things that are unique to Thailand. We were able to take a boat tour to see the surrounding area. I would def recommend this tour.

Coral Island Half-day Trip from Pattaya stop over for Parasailing & Sea Walking | Mar 2020
The excursion started out properly. I was picked up at my hotel along with other travelers. We were deposited by the beach and sat for over an hour waiting for the boat to come pick us up. There is really no place to sit and it was very hot. Once the tour actually began the tour leader was very pleasant and went out of her way to try to make things enjoyable. For the parasailing portion we stopped at a large barge type platform. They had several boats circling the platform and were moving people on and off like an assembly line. The actual flying time was probably only two minutes. Not the best experience but what I expected. I am a certified scuba diver and I found the sea walking portion to be a waste of my time. By the time everyone gets to the bottom the guides walk you around. You see very little bit of one reef and they take some photos they want to sell you later. Again, not the best experience but I suppose if you've never really been underwater it might've been more exciting. Finally, the time at coral Beach was okay. You have about an hour to hang around the beach and have a drink or so. I chose an option with the seafood meal which was actually pretty good. I would only read this trip as average and for people who are not really adventurous in their travel.

Private Chiang Mai City Tour including Wat Doi Suthep, Wat Suan Dok & Lunch | Feb 2020
Very well organized private tour. The guide personalized our experience. Explained the rich history of Chiang Mai as the former capital of the Northern kingdom. The cold towels and the stready supply of cold water bottles were helpful in the hot tropical climate. The guide was attentive to detail. We spent the right amount of time at each stop and had an unforgettable experience overall. Strongly recommend!

Private Departure Transfer : Bangkok Hotel to Bangkok Airport | Feb 2020
Service was great, picked up as agreed, arrived at airport in plenty of time. Was disappointed to learn two other members of my group, left same day at different times and just got the hotel to arrange taxi, their cost to the airport was half what I paid. The reason I prebooked was because it was meant to be cheaper.

Brilliant Tour let down by inaccurate itinerary

Sunset Selfie Boat Ride @ "Ayutthaya" - A World Heritage Evening Trip | Feb 2020
Brilliant additional tour to take whilst staying in Bangkok. Arrived at our hotel on time in mini-van. Really friendly and informative tour guides. We drove to the first Temple site in Ayutthaya which was beautiful and one of the guides was happy to take photographs for us. We then drove to the river to board the river boat for our cruise which was terrific, passing village life beside the banks and seeing many temple structures along the way. As sunset approached we arrived at our second temple site where we had time to explore. We were then taken to a restaurant for a very nice early evening dinner complete with a rice desert. Unfortunately the trip was marred when told that this was the end of the trip and that we would be driven back to our hotels - our trip did not match the tour itinerary as sold to us and everyone was EXTREMELY disappointed to learn that we would not be visiting the Reclining Buddha at Wat Loykaya Sutha or the 'Buddha head in tree' at Wat Maha That Temple.

Tour Highlights: The Long Neck Hill Tribe and the White Temple

star-4Nancy_U
Chiang Rai One Day : White Temple, Golden Triangle, Boat Ride to Laos, Long Neck | Feb 2020
It was definitely a very long day. There was much to see and there was ALOT of driving. That said, the sites we saw were amazing. Hot springs where the local women boil their eggs in handmade baskets. The Long Neck Hill Tribe with beautiful women and equally beautiful textiles. And, of course, the White Temple--talk about memorable. We also had a nice lunch. Oh yeah, and we took a boat ride into the Golden Triangle where the rivers of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand converge. Once the center of the opium trade, now the center of outstanding coffee. Some of the best I've every had. As interesting as the history of this destination is, I could have done without the riverboat ride. Not much to see along the shores. Cutting this out would have helped cut down on the overall length of the tour. Overall, I felt rushed with limited time at each destination.

Phuket City Tour: Karon View Point, Big Buddha & Wat Chalong (Multi Languages) | Feb 2020
Joy was a nice and accommodating tour guide, the driver was great too. She answered our questions, whether they were related to the stop or not. She only had a few sentences to say about each stop, so I thought of this experience more as easy transportation to must see things with a locals input vs a full guided tour. Would still do again :)
