Hop aboard your state of the art catamaran at the wharf in either Paihia or Russel to begin your sightseeing cruise in the Bay of Islands — named for its nearly 150 islands. Take a seat indoors or on a spacious outdoor deck aboard the multi-level vessel,. Keep an eye out for seals, penguins, whales and sea birds while the crew provides informative facts about the region.
The boat stops to deliver mail and other supplies to local residents, and comes close to Cape Brett and its natural arch known as the Hole in the Rock. When weather and water conditions allow, you can opt to take a swim where dolphins are present (own expense, must be pre-booked; a wetsuit and snorkelling gear are provided).
A full bar with tea, coffee and snacks are also available for purchase on board. Limited lunch options are also available, however, please pre-order 24-hours prior to departure.
