Limited French on Tour in France Booked & Confirmed in French!!!
Paula T
, Oct 2019
All the time, we find ourselves asked « there’s an English speaker, so I will do this in English ok? But if you have any questions dont hesitate in French ok ? It’s oks? You’re sure it’s ok? ». This is asked while SIX tourists who don’t speak French stand & look at us... What can we say? So the guide says everything TWICE. The first château lady says all in English THEN turns to us and repeats all (makes us feel like children, lengthens the duration, eats into overall time, breaks the flow, etc. The 2nd château lady just does all in English! Viatour KNEW they were accepting English people on a French tour - they should have called us when they knew this & asked us if we wanted to cancel. We were not given this chance...
