A great intro into how Bordeaux wines are made, categorized, and blended. A 2hr, city based session in an easily found location close the Quinconces tram stop. Lots of wine obviously included with lots of nibbles too. Matilde, our host, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly too.
I was not a huge fan of wine before this class but learning about how the wine helped a lot! There were 4 people in the class total so it was very intimate and our instructor balanced the English and French speakers well. We were very happy with the education was received and even happier with our decision to book.
This was a perfect way to start our tour of the vineyards in the Bordeaux area. It was so informative and fun! I highly recommend this tour. There were about 10in our grou0 and we met other wine lovers and travelers.
The host was fantastic, she was engaging and passionate on her subject and we all had a fantastic time because of it. The tasting is great and the opportunity to blend for yourself gives a real insight in to Bordeaux wines. Great as a first stop before heading out to the vineyards.
We had a wonderful time learning about the different wine regions of France with Colas, who was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and engaging. Finding out about the Bordeaux wine region and how they categorize and label their wines was fascinating and I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who has an interest in regional wines.
