Wonderful time spent with Mohammed (?) Guide and Sayed (driver). Knowledgeable, adaptable, friendly we couldn't fault the tour. A word of caution, if going inside the Great Pyramid, you need flexibility (bending double in places) and correct footwear essential. If you are at all claustrophobic don't even consider it. It is one narrow (steep) pathway up and down , no traffic light system! Also incredibly hot inside. I was trembling all over once I was back outside. Saqqara was well worth the visit too. No hassle from vendors, really, really enjoyable. Thank you guys.

Excellent tour , we really did enjoyed our time exploring great Pyramids and nearby area. Our tour guide Ahmed was great and had really good knowledge about ancient Egyptian culture. Lunch was ok , however the overall time was approx 4 hours not whole day. Overall we really enjoyed our tour , there were no additional unnecessary stops (shopping stops) which was great. Highly recommend the tour and guide for Giza visit.

Ahd was a very good guide for the full day tour to Memphis , Saqqara and the ginza pyramids. I certainly recommend this tour to anyone booking this tour Was picked up and dropped off back at our hotel in the city centre

Perfect Pyramid Experience

When one visits Cairo for the first time a tour of the pyramids is a must and this tour did not disappoint. Mohamed Hamed our guide and Mr H our driver met us at our designated time and place and and our adventure began. Mohamed shared with us many interesting details of what we were going to experience. His story telling and historial facts were just right - helping us understand and imagine how, what and why these magnificent wonders came to be. Highlights included a camel ride for a very distinctive vantage point of the pyramids, and A perfect spot for taking in the Great sphinx of Giza. Mohammed always had the perfect spot to capture our memories and always ready to take the perfect pic! Other tour highlights included visiting the first pyramid ever build and being on an active archeological site, and visiting the Statue of Ramesses II in Memphis. We ended the day with a lovely traditional barbecue meal. Our memories of this day will last a lifetime! Yala Yala!

Good tour that could have been better

The ancient Egyptian monuments are amazing. Our guide, Lido, was very personable and knowledgeable; however, he put us in a few situations where we felt pressured to spend additional money, which we did not like. For example, he pawned us off to another person to visit the inside of a tomb, and this second person demanded payment. It wasn't a lot of money, but we didn't like the principle of the exchange. Additionally, we did not like that there were not functioning seat belts in the back seat of the vehicle, even though our driver was good.

A fantastic day visiting Giza, Saqqara and Memphis - a hell of a lot to take in and we tested our knowledgeable guide to the limit. Make sure you pay the extra fee onsite to climb up Inside the Great Pyramid of Cheops - you won’t regret it
Not really a great experience with Viator and its partner (EMO Tours)

Our driver was Mustafa and guide was Syed Mehmood.Our pickup was scheduled for 10:00AM however due to gap from EMO Tours Operation Team, the guide reached our pickup place at Hotel at 10:30AM.The guide mentioned he had asked someone from Operations a day prior to suggest us to start the tour at 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning since all sightseeing sites close around 5:00 in the evening however no one informed us of that. Unfortunately the weather also wasnt the best that day.The winds were strong and there was just so much dust going into the eyes near the Giza Pyramids.We could hardly spend 10-15 mints there.Then we went to Sphinx which was just another statue.In between the guide us to a shop for buying Souvenirs which was a shop run by EMO Tours only.They initially quoted higher price and then the guide seemed to make us realise that he has helped us with a good discount after his discussion with shopkeeper.Post that he also took us to a shop for Papyrus painting and the same story again.The prices of paintings quoted originally were 6000 EGP each and they showcased as they offered us a great deal post the 30-40% discounts.It was only on the last day when we went to Khan El Khalili we realised how we were fooled and cheated (we bought Lotus Oil from that market for 1/3rd the price where the driver and guide took us).They take you to overpriced shops since their commission is also included in those.The prices we paid you could easily get 2-3 paintings at that price from good Egyptian artists (not the cheap ones).Please don't buy anything from the shops the guide takes you to.After that we were taken to Memphis which was an open museum and.The last spot was Saqara which had good views,we went inside the pyramid and saw the amazing sunset.The tour ended at 05:15 PM and we reached our Hotel at 05:45-06:00 PM.The overall tour duration from start to end was close to 07 - 07 and half hours instead of originally mentioned as 09hrs while booking. Just to add post my booking of tours (and prior to the start, i had requested EMO Tours to issue me a guarantee letter as both my tours (this one and the other day trip to Alexandria) were through them.This was one of the pre-reqs mentioned on our e-Visa.A guy named Fares initially took all our passport information and mentioned he would issue the letter and send it.For 2 weeks he didnt share it,then i escalated it to Viator (through which i booked the tours),initially they were also fooled by EMO Tours stating that they have sent this letter to me.When i highlighted they are blatantly lying and Viator customer service asked them to share it with them so that they could then forward it to me,some one named Mariem Wahid from EMO Tours asks me to cancel both the booking through Viator (for approx 311USD) and book for 400USD directly thru them post which they would issue it.Unfortunately never heard back anything from Viator too on the ticket i raised and they eventually closed it without any resolution.Booking through GetYourGuide is much better i feel.

The Pyramids are amazing

We were guided by Attayah who was very good. The pace of our tour was fine. We took lots of fun photos and Attayah was happy to take the photos for us. Lunch was good. We also made a short visit to a Papyrus making place but this could be excluded from the tour.
