On the 30 Sept 2018 my friend and I did this walking tour and it was the highlight of our Dubai visit. We took the metro from the airport to Al Fahidi station where we meet our wonderful guide Hoda. She greeted us with bottled water and filled us with local interesting knowledge on our walk of Old Dubai. The Coffee Museum was a great experience of traditional Arabic coffee and dates. Next a visit to a Calligraphy Centre where I saw my name written in traditional Arabic writing by a master of the art. We went into a traditional Emiratian house and Hoda educated us on traditions and customs. Next visit to an Art Gallery by young inspiring Artists. Then off to the Dubai Museum which was very interesting . I loved walking through the fabric markets and hearing the call for prayer echoing through the laneways. Then we took an Abra boat, crossing the Dubai Creek to the Spice Souks and the Gold Souks. Hoda helped us understand negotiating prices with respect to the shop owners. Hoda helped us in details on how to get back to our Hotel at the end of the tour. I can only highly recommend this tour and am so grateful to meet Hoda our guide. A must to do when in Dubai. Thank You Hoda. Deeann W Australia.

It was an excellent tour, our guide Hoda is a very professional and friendly guide who gave us a good insight into the local tradition and culture. It was good that we did this tour on our first stay of our stay, because we saw many of the main must-see in Dubai within just a few hours, such as the Dubai Museum, the Al Fahidi historical center, crossed the creek with a water taxi and saw all 3 main souks textile, gold and spices. We had freshly brewed turkish and arabian coffee and got good advises where to eat and got help when we bought spices. Hoda even invited us to the local favorite karak tea. Great experience!

This tour I did on my first day in Dubai and it is a great introduction to the history and the culture of UAE. Hoda, our guide, is very knowledgeable. There are many discoveries and visits during the tour. I felt like being hosted by a friend during this 4 hour tour. Highly recommend this tour.
