Visiting Dubai’s desert independently won’t unlock the dune sports or Bedouin-inspired entertainments offered by organized safaris. This premium experience delivers the works, with the added bonus of the red-dune Lahbab desert as a setting. After a 4WD dune bash, go sandboarding before camel rides, Bedouin-style traditions, a gourmet barbecue buffet, shows, and stargazing beckon from the 5-star Al Khayma Camp. All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are available (own expense) and 4WD transfers are included.

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking

  • Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
  • It is highly recommended that, you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
  • All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
  • Entertainment activities:- During the holy month of Ramadan you can watch Tanoura and Fire shows only in our desert camps (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for Ladies Khaliji Dance. Other religious holidays as per UAE law i.e. 3rd April​, 10​ & 31st​ Aug​, 9th Nov etc there will not be any entertainment activities in the camps as its strictly not permitted by UAE law.
  • Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter
  • OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury. It is advisable that the traveler should avail a travel health insurance as there can be chances of potential risks and hazards. Also, make sure they are mentally and physically able to participate.
  • Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
  • Pickup will be within 45min prior your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time
  • Kindly share your Whatsapp number for an easy communication during the pickup
  • Rove Dubai Marina & Wyndham Dubai Marina Hotels we don't Pick from Due to massive Traffic on this area But you can meet us at Stella Di Mare which is 750M Away.
  • We recommend you have international travel insurance as self-driving activities are prone to risk, leading to serious injury & is covered only by your insurance companies.
  • Quad biking is a self-driving activity to be taken at your own risk and the company’s insurance does not cover it.
  • The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Star Gazing since it's during the day timing
  • By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If this conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour)
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This is a must and a great trip with a great company.
I would suggest wearing close toe shoes because the sand was hot.
Bring a jacket for evening and some cash to buy stuff at the camp/tipping, etc.

I am very glad we booked this experience! Our driver Ramzan made it completely amazing! The dune bashing experience was very new and interesting and actually a lot of fun, the campsite was absolutely perfect with a lot of really good food. All along the trip Ramzan was super attentive and helpful and he even told us some interesting facts about the areas we were in which made the trip more authentic. There is simply nothing negative to say, we loved every minute of this experience!

It was an absolutely amazing experience for our family of four. Our guide, Mr. Lahcen Chahbi has over 28 years of experience as a tour guide and that obviously showed in the way he managed the whole itinerary for the day. We did not miss a single attraction and he coordinated every aspect to perfection. Our kids really enjoyed the Quad biking on the red dunes and the camel rides. Lahcen tackled the dunes in his 4x4 like a veteran he his during the dune bashing experience. And to top it all off, it was simply mesmerizing to soak up the traditional middle eastern hospitality at the Al-Khayma camp. The three cuisine food and the 5 star live barbecue was a gastronomical delight. The Tanoura dance and the fire show displayed the amazing skill and the artistic talent of the performers. This Desert Safari on its own really made our Dubai trip. Will strongly recommend.

The last time I took the tour in 2021, we went to the Al Khayma Camp. This is why I booked this trip. We ended up going to a camp called Al Marmoom. Honestly Al Marmoom is a landscaped swamp in the desert. The Al Khaymah camp had an awesome warm vibe with great food. They even had Ouzy, a local speciality. This camp Al Marmoom had very poor food. The ambience was dead and there was no warmth. We arrived very late at the camp. Spent all our time on the road between the dune bashing spot and the campsite and barely spent all of 100 minutes in this camp with poor food and the ladies had no time to get their henna. We reached too late to see the camels. This was really a rip off. Honestly, not worth 100 dollars. The saving grace was the professionalism of the Driver Nicky, and the quality of the new land cruiser. Other than that, nothing at all could save this disaster. It is now a money making factory and this is definitely too expensive to justify the below-mediocre quality. Never again with Ocean Tours.

Highly recommend this tour! We had Nasir as our tour guide and he was great. There are some parts of the tour you have to pay more for like the quad bikes but the rest of its included - hotel pickup/drop, camel rides, jeep dune part, sandboarding, and dinner/show. The dinner was great since we have vip service and skipped the buffet (totally worth it). Nasir took great care of us the whole time - highly recommend!! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

All I was it was amazing. All were new experiences from Dune bashing to sand surfing and riding the quad bike, having henna applied, camel riding and holding a hawk. So much fun

Dune bashing was the highlight during oir trip. Driver Rosh (Roshin) was excellent & knowledgeable. He explained us all the details about the experience and made our experience much better than expected. Food at the camp was excellent and overall arrangement was fantastic. Must do activity if visiting Dubai.

The tour was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to the UAE! Sohail was such a great guide that gave us great recommendations and made sure we had a good time. Everyone was so hospitable and was so welcoming. This was definitely worth every penny - would highly recommend!

Beautiful experience, we went from the metropolis of Dubai to the immensity of the desert on the border with Oman, with a 1 hour journey accompanied by our guide Mr. Tilanga, excellent driver, very helpful and funny. The dinner at the desert camp was really good and plentiful, the dance shows were very exciting. Go there!
