Pickup from any hotel or location within Dubai city Port Rashid (cruise terminal) is included in the tour. Pickup from Jabel Ali, Dubai Investments Park, Sharjah, Ajman will be available on request for an additional cost based on your location. Guests must be ready for pickup 45 minutes before tour start time.

What To Expect

Choose from 4-hour program that includes dune bashing, sandboarding and camel ride or the full 7-hour program with the addition of a BBQ dinner and enjoy many other activities at a VIP Bedouin-style camp'.

Start your experience with pickup in a safari-style 4WD vehicle from your central Dubai hotel and zoom into the remote Lahbab desert that lies outside the city.

During the drive, your guide answers any questions and shares information about the region. Head off road into bright red dunes and have your camera ready to capture what looks like giant beanbags of sand. During a break to gather the convoy, make use of optional quad bikes on-site. Then hold tight as you cruise toward the highest slopes. Feel the adrenaline race as your 4x4 plows up the dunes before sliding and slipping back down the slopes, churning up billowing clouds of sand in the process. 

Reach a high desert dune for a photo stop and admire 360-degree views of the desert landscape as the sun slowly sets (afternoon tour). Take a camel ride and surf the dunes on a sandboard before you continue on to a Bedouin-style camp hidden in the middle of the desert (if upgrade selected).

The 4-hour tour ends here and you are returned to your Dubai hotel.

For those who have chosen a 7-hour tour, proceed to a torchlit camp, settle inside a cushion-strewn tent, and savor some fresh Arabian coffee and dates. Your safari guide will brief you about the various activities available: smoke a shisha (water pipe), decorate your hands with henna designs, and take pictures in traditional Arabic clothes.

As dusk falls, dig into a scrumptious barbecue dinner of dishes such as kebabs, hummus, and salads accompanied by sodas and mineral water, and additional drinks (own expense) from the bar. While you eat, enjoy a colorful belly dancing show and tanoura performance, where fast-spinning dancers whirl across the stage. If you wish, click snaps with Arabian falcons at the camp.

Finally, return to Dubai by 4x4, where your experience concludes with a hotel drop-off.

We will proceed with our journey to Lahbab desert – the most remote desert place in Dubai – which will take 45-50 minutes’ drive to reach there. Feel free to ask questions to your expert guide about the history and culture of Dubai, its cuisine, important monuments, and so much more.

It was amazing experience with dream journey. The Nissan patrol was very comfortable and Mr Zaffar was very helpful and gave lot of information. 4 seater family Buggy was the best ride on the sand dunes. Red dune Safari was crazy experience with up n down on big dunes and sand tricks by the driver. Camel ride was Superb. Dinner and Fire show, Belly dancing Carpet Dance was Incredible. Overall 10/10 experience and highly recommended.

Mr Noor was excellent. Sand dune bashing was excellent. However there was confusion on 4 Hour and 7 hour trip. I wanted a 7 hour trip and thought have booked one. But because of confusion ended up Booking 4 hour slot and thought to have paid more. There should be clear demarcation of 4 hour and 7 hour Booking

It was a four hour round trip pack with lots of fun. Perfect for those who are short on time but want a desert experience! Mithu was a great driver! We had lots of fun! The 4x4 meant it was the 4 of us plus 2 others. So it’s a relatively small group and we got to know each other too!

We could not come to Dubai and not experience this excursion. We are so glad we not only booked through Viator but we got Abbas as our professional driver. He was upbeat, friendly, professional and took good care of us. Oh I have to add he’s a jokester too! We enjoyed our experience and if we ever come back will book again and ask for Abbas!!

Great fun - definitely worth it if you have a few spare hours to escape the hustle and bustle of Dubai downtown. Our driver was great. Very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. He is also and excellent 4X4 driver on sand dunes.

Memorable and exciting outing for the desert with quadbikes, 4x4 dunebashing, camelrides (twice), sandboarding and also henna, entertainment and dinner in "beduin camp" (maybe not THAT authentic). Pick-up and drop-off on time, all in comfortable vehicle for six persons (three couples). Our driver and guide, Rahman, was just great. Knowing, entertaing, helpfull all the way. Everything was on time and exact pick up time was informed with whatsApp. Camel Riding with photo stop was nice memory. Quad Bike Rides was nice but for extra charge. Sandboarding was nice and we get nice pictures of that. Dune-bashing with 4WD vehicle was exciting a memorable experience After dune-bashing they offered compressed air cleaning of the skin. This can be very dangerous and cause air embolism (entry of compressed air into the bloodstream). Please stop that immediately.
