Get picked up early in the morning around 7:30am from an area near Parnell Square in central Dublin. Hop aboard an air-conditioned coach to ride in comfort to your first stop—Applegreen. This stop is about halfway between Dublin and the Giant's Causeway, and your guide allows your group to have around 10 minutes here. There are restrooms to use, plus, you can also pick up some breakfast or a coffee if you like (own expense). Please also note there is no stop for lunch on this trip, so you might want to buy lunch to bring along with you as well.
Afterward, continue on to the Giant’s Causeway. Once your group pulls up to the parking area, start on the 20-minute walk down the Causeway. If you don’t want to walk, there is shuttle that will take you down, but take note it is a little pricey (own expense).
When you get down to the interlocking basalt columns, take your time exploring. Make sure to get all the pictures in you want. When you’re done, make the walk (or take the shuttle) back to the top where your coach and guide are waiting.
Next, head over to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. At the bridge, you can choose to cross the 65-foot-long (20-meter-long) wooden, rope bridge (own expense) or just sit back and enjoy the sights. On the way back to Dublin from the bridge, make another stop at Applegreen before you're dropped off at your original departure point.
