Kirsty, our chauffeur and guide was fantastic.Very good at driving and storytelling., and good music.
Unfortunately was the seats uncomfortable, so some of os had a pain in the ass afterwards.
If it was'nt for Kirsty, the rating would not have been so good.
We would love another trip with Kirsty, if we return to Edinburgh another time.
Thanks for your review. It is great to hear you enjoyed your guides sense of humour and knowledge. I am sorry you were disappointed with the lack of time out of the bus. We do advise our customers when booking in our shop that most of the day is on the bus, as Loch Ness is a long drive from Edinburgh. I hope you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and that we see you back in Scotland soon. Kind Regards, Emma
As much as we enjoyed the tour we were left a bit miffed as to why we didn't stop at Ben Nevis like it suggests. We were pointed to look at it through the bus window. We only stopped twice for 5 mins to dash around to take pics before getting back on the bus. The scenery was very beautiful but couldn't really take photos out of the bus window especially when the views were on the opposite side of the bus to where we were sat. We stopped for an hour at loch Ness and enjoyed the choppy boat ride. So mixed feels but found the tour advisors lovely and informative.
Our guide, Michael, was excelent! Super charismatic and with the right amount of information, stories, jokes and musical moments. I liked some of the places we saw from the bus more than Loch Ness itself, such as Loch Lochy. The one thing I didn't like is that in the last stop it was suggested we went for an ice cream and the people who worked there were laughing of the customers' bad english. One asian lady asked for a whisky instead of a whisky ice cream and they mocked her and kept laughing after she left. That's not what you do when you have a lot of tourists queuing in your shop, it's very disrespectful.
Anyway it was a wonderful experience that I've already recommended to everyone.
Fiona was very funny and entertaining. A combination of facts mixed with Scottish Tall tales made the long trip enjoyable. The views at Glencoe were better than imagined and the tour in Loch Ness was also fun.
How absolutely wonderful, Rich our driver and guide made the difference between a good day to being a great day he was absolutely fantastic his knowledge was superb his company was second to none, Rich absolutely went above and beyond with his advice and entertainment and helpful suggestions that is making our stay here in Edinburgh much more than we could possibly have hoped for, our day spent with Rich and your company was so rewarding thank you very much. One of the highlights of our two week Scotland trip. Breathtaking scenery...the full day went so quickly with every moment filled with incredible beauty. Guide Lee was very knowledgeable, entertaining and fun, filling the tour with fascinating and heart wrenching history. I would have liked more time at Glencoe taking in the scenery and then less time at Ft. Augustus, but still the tour was paced well and we would definitely recommend to anyone. The western highlands are a must see...unbelievably gorgeous.
