The blue city is nice to see, but it is not worth the 3+ hour drive to get there. The bus drivers were driving wreckless and speeding. Everyone on the bus was nervous and scared. We wanted to cut our trip short to try to leave while the sun was still out because we hated the thought of riding in the dark with the drivers. I had friends in 2 vans that were going and they had the same experience in their van. Driver sped across speed bumps, everyone bounced out of chair, felt like a bad rollercoaster ride. I would not recommend this tour.

It was an excellent experience and I really recommend to visit Chefchaouen. It's a beautiful city and the driver was very friendly and professional.

Chefchaouen is beautiful and much more chill than Fez and other cities in Morocco. The host and guide were great.

Not as advertised

This was not a tour. It was just a driver taking a van of people to the city. The driver did not speak English (although the tour was advertised as an English guide). We would stop randomly without any information why. Then arriving in town we were forced to follow a guide to learn where we were to meet at the end of the day and that guide expected to be paid by each of us for his service.

Very long drive to see a very nice village

The village is very nice and deserves to be visited, but it is a very long drive to get there and come back from Fes. We had a short walk in town with a local guide and I have to say unfortunately that I did not learn much from him. But he was good at pointing nice views to photograph and the rest of the group seem to enjoy. We had 2 hours left only to wonder in the village by ourselves. If you are used to group bus trips, you will enjoy this it. If not (such as me), there is got the be a better way to visit Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen is worth it

The city is just amazing! I would recommend this tour if you really just don't have any other way to visit. I've saved two days to fez, which I immediately regretted after seeing this amazing city. 4H each way in a REALLY REALLY REALLY bumpy road is too much! The driver was good for sure, but the road we took was in too bad condition for the speed we were going, which made the whole 8h really uncomfortable :( The guide was really nice! Overall: If you can: take a normal bus and spend the night, it's worth it! If you can't take this tour, they are very cool, the only problem is the whole journey there :( (Which obviously is not their fault)

Chefchaouen day excursion

Trip was as expected. It was nice to have an English speaking company rep. on the trip. It was nice to have a quick tour in Chefchaouen. The group was 17 people, it would have been nicer if the group was smaller and if the local guide would have spent more time showing us around, for instance, going to the spanish mosque. Driver was excellent and van was clean and comfortable.

Not a big deal

Beyond the blue paint, this place was nothing special. Maybe the countryside drive was a bit of an attraction...

Love the blue town. It's so pretty and worth going there. If you don't go you will regret it. You don't get to see something like Chefchaoeun everyday! The guide was very helpful and polite. Very good service!

I highly recommend this tour! I traveled to Morocco with a group of 15 friends, for a friend's birthday celebration. We book ed this trip, hearing that Chefchaouen "the blue city" is a must place to visit. Before the trip i received a message on Whatsapp from the tour guide confirming the pick up location. Since we were a big group, we had the tour to ourselves. We were picked up in large van, which was very clean and comfortable. It had AC and nice seats. The driver was very nice and so was our tourguide, we were given information on how long the trip was (around 4 hours) and that we had one stop for rest. At the rest stop we were able to use the restroom and buy food/snacks. The tour guide was understanding that it took us longer, since there were other buses and tourist there, the lines were long. They were always careful to make sure everyone got back to the bus and was accounted for. Once we reached Chefchaouen we met another guide, who let us around the city so that we could see and get to know some key points there. After that we had free time to do our own thing. The city itself is beautiful! So many places to take pictures, lots of shops and restaurants.Overall we all love the tour and would highly recommend it. :)
