Arrange your round-trip airport transfer in advance and skip the hassle of booking a service at the Liberia airport. This convenient form of transport takes you from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport to your hotel or private residence, and then back again. It means you spend more time enjoying your trip and less time puzzling out the logistics. Transportation is in an air-conditioned minibus that accommodates up to six people.
I recently traveled to Flamingo Beach in Costa Rica. not having traveled there before I was uncertain about the transfer included in the package that I had purchased so I booked private transport through Viator. There was a bit of delay upon arrival not a big deal the driver was wonderful and game for taking the short cut to the property across Monkey Road, what a sport. He was also kind enough to make a couple stops on the way to the property. The return travel went very smoothly and again the driver was wonderful. It did buy me about two additional hours at the resort the morning of my departure. Honestly, the transfer included probably would have be okay, but I will most likely use Viator again when I return.
We had a great experience with both drivers, they were professional, hospitable and punctual. With that said travelers beware, Viator does not have an office in Guanacaste and you have to rely on other tour company's to confirm with the contact in Liberia. We were fortunate that Maurice and Susie at the Delta desk took the time to call and verify our pickup. I would definitely use and recommend Viator, but would now take the extra time to know if they have an office with a local number in case of any questions or concerns.
This was great, and I'm glad I did it. The drivers were very nice in both directions. Since it was prepaid, I didn't have to worry about a taxi over charging me. My driver even made a stop at a grocery store so we could buy some snacks and water.
