Yaya is the best guide we could have asked for. We had a group of 9 people and he exceeded all of our expectations. He was super friendly and informative and went above and beyond for our group. We highly recommend this tour and Yaya.
Solo traveller on Sunday Morning Tour

The day went smoothly. Pickup and drop off were fine. Got to tick off everything on my Marrakech list. Lots of info from the tour guide. The tour requires a minimum 2 people so as a solo traveller there was effort involved in finding someone else at the hotel to sign up to the tour with me. On the day that person felt unwell. We didn't try to claim a refund and the tour went ahead with just me. I'm sure it must have been disappointing for our guide to not have more people for tips and also to engage with on the tour but to his credit he was the consummate professional. Perhaps some thought can be given to a single supplement. I note some of the recent comments about being taken to particular shops in the souks. It is what it is and I got to see far more than I would have otherwise so I'm philosophical about the few pounds extra that I probably paid. I got to see lots, got all the gifts I wanted so it was worth it.
Amazing tour of Marrakech!

Yaya was an incredible tour guide! My husband and I had a private tour booked with him and we learned so much about the city. He was able to fit in all of the spots we wanted to go to and was super patient when we wanted to go make stops to go shopping. He was super knowledgeable and very charismatic. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech and to request Yaya!

Great communication with the tour provider before the trip, our questions were answered in a friendly, polite and competent manner. Our driver Salah and our guide Bassam collected us from the hotel on time, the vehicle was spacious, clean and comfortable. It took us a little while to get from our hotel into Marrakech, and from the very first minute, Bassam provided us with plenty interesting facts on the city as well as Moroccan life, culture and history - not in the shape of a boring lecture, but in an entertaining way, and we were able to ask questions anytime. His English was very good. The tour itself was a mix of driving and walking, and we felt safe and well guided at all times. Bassam helped us to buy some nice little souvenirs at very reasonable prices, and as we had paid for the entrance fees to some of the landmarks at the time of booking, we did not have to queue or buy tickets ourselves. We reached our hotel exactly 4 hours after pickup, having seen, experienced and photographed the most important sights of Marrakech. Bassam had taken a few photos of us as well, so we have got some lovely memories of this highly recommended tour.

Fun day in the midst of Marrakesh madness

Enjoyed the combination of waking and riding through the medina to see key sights. Our first stop, Majorelle Garden, was an absolute zoo, but our guide YaYa did a great job in getting us in without a long wait. He was fantastic in general in cutting through the red tape and being knowledgeable. He also understood English well: some other guides I worked with on this trip could speak well but did not understand as well. I’d definitely recommend this tour. If you are going to be in Marrakesh for a few days, I’d do it on day 1 to identify sights you might want to return to,

Memorable marrekech city tour

Private tour was great. I highly recommend Yahya as your tour guide, his well spoken, friendly he was our photographer for the day😆 . The day was well organised, full of culture and history. Nice to do this tour on your first day. Having a tour guide like Yahya made the the experience very memorable. Driver, Yusuf was great too!!

Highlights of old and modern Marrakech

Yaya was a superb tour guide!!!! We not only explored the medina, Jewish quarters, bread factory, hammam warming station, the beautiful garden, and Bahia Palace, the fancy streets of modern Marrakech, but Yaya took me to see Ben Youssef Madrasa which was not included in the private tour. Did I mention Yaya bought me traditional donuts, paid for the Madrasa entrance fee, had me try traditional mint tea from the hammam warming station, and bread from the factory. We also visited a family owned spice/ oil shop and light gallery shoo at the medina. I was not pressured into buying anything. Lastly, we stopped at a shop in modern Marrakech where I found souvenirs for family. Again, it is your choice to negotiate, or buy, but all in all, I loved this tour as I felt I saw it all in one 1/2 day. Thank you Yay, and Ahmed, our driver!
Promising tour that went really south!

We were very excited to do this tour since Marrakech has so many interesting places to visit. The tour guide showed up on time to pick us up from our riad; he was very friendly and while his English left a lot to be desired (we were able to pick up half of his words) things started well with the visits to Jardin Majorelle and Palacio da Bahia (both awesome attractions). We then proceeded to Koutoubia Mosque (also very interesting) and then to a herbal store cooperative (was on the plan and was indeed very nice too). This was unfortunately the end of the "good" side of the tour. The guide subsequently took us to an antique store whose owner was clearly a good friend of his - we were borderly-harassed into buying something in order to get out by an extremely aggressive (albeit friendly on the surface) vendor. We lost more than one hour between the herbal store and the antique store; by the time we were done it was 13:00 and the guide told us the tour was over. The following locations (highlighted on the plan) were not visited at all: * Bab Agnaou Gate * Kasbah * Moulay el Yazid Mosque * Souk Semmarine Side-note: the driver of our transportation was swapped between Jardin Majorelle and Palacio da Bahia resulting in another 20min of time lost (just waiting on a side-walk with our guide) Marrakech is a beautiful city with a lot of exquisite attractions to visit; in retrospective, 4 hours is clearly not enough to visit all the places highlighted in the Viator page.

Excellent tour of Marrakech highlights

We had a great day touring Marrakech. We saw many of the top sites including the palace and the Jardin Majorelle and the tickets were included in the tour price, plus our guide helped us avoid waiting in lines. We sampled tea and pastries, walked through the Medina, visited a rug shop and an herbalist, and a local bakery. Our guide was very friendly, told us all about the local customs, and spoke good English. Definitely recommend!

The tour was amazing and our guide Yaya was great. we visited known places as well as local places to see the real, everyday life in Marrakesh. We did not have to wait in lines for tickets,, Yaya took care of everything, the driver was always waiting for us just outside. Yaya shared with us many stories- about history, about people mindset in Morocco. It was a pure pleasure and I highly recommend it.
An enjoyable half day tour of the sights

Really enjoyable half day tour with Hassan the tour guide. Collected from hotel and visited a number of places including the palace and the stunning gardens. We had already done the night tour of the medina but included here was a further tour of the souks. Very different day and night and worth’s visit both times. Would definitely have got lost with a guide. Hassan was very good and share a lot of information

It was goog to have a guide to inform us about the city and the history. Hassan was very good and gave us time to explore Majorell gardens and then took us to Bahia Palace which was fabulous. Without a guide the medina would have been dangerous because of all the motorbikes!!

Fabulous morning exploring the jardin majorelle, Bahia palace and highlights of Marrakesh. Our guide was knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to, he struck the right balance of telling us enough without overload and made it great fun for our family. Really recommend this if you are new to Marrakesh and want the highlights in a day.

Just had an excellent tour of Marrakesh with Rashid. He is a great personality and seems to know everyone in the city. From the gardens to the Riads, to the madness that is the Medina. We really did have a great trip to Marrakech - saw things we most definitely would not have have seen and learned far more about the history and culture of Marrakesh with our excellent guide Mounir. The added benefit of a chauffeur and the luxury of being dropped location to location made it feel safe but also hassle free. As two female travellers we wanted to see the real Marrakech safely this ticked every box. Would highly recommend this trip.
