Begin with pickup at your Marrakech hotel, then drive to the outskirts of the city, where streets give way to palm trees, resorts, and desert villages. This tour accommodates beginning or experienced riders, and before climbing into the saddle, you can get some basic tips and instructions on how to ride. Steer your horse in and out of the shady palm trees, crossing open terrain and continuing through traditional Berber communities. In one village take time to dismount, meet some local people, and pause for a traditional glass of welcome tea.
After the tea break, trade your horse for a quad bike, and open up the accelerator as you ride across the landscape. The Palmeraie covers 54 square miles (140 square kilometers), and it supports hundreds of thousands of palm trees, as well as olive and fruit orchards with the dramatic backdrop of the Atlas Mountains. Steer your quad bike across rocky washes and smooth, sandy ground, then loop back to the entrance of the Palmeraie. This tour concludes with return transfer to your Marrakech hotel.
