Not sure private guide worth the extra expense, but certainly nice to have personal attention
Nice experience, remember you will have to pay the extra entrance fees to Le Jardin Majorelle but it is worth it.
Very good picking up the Gardens, Palace, Tombs and Souks.

I would not recommend

The tour driver was terrible and the tour did not provide the information on where to get the entry tickets on time. The driver was not helpful. He will drop us off and disappear and then appear when we need to leave. He did not even drop us back at our hotel after the tour was over he left us at the last place.

This was the best thing we did in Marrakesh, I would defiantly recommend this. It was so interesting. We had a private guide and travelled around Marrakesh easily and it was really fun and interesting.

Our tour guide Hassan was very helpful! He answered all of our questions, provided local insight into the history, culture, and social norms of Marrakech, was flexible with the itinerary, and was very easy to work with. He did clearly take us to some spots where he gets a commission that I wish we spent less time at or less time traveling to but overall it was a positive experience. At the Medina, he helped translate with local merchants to help us get a good price which we were very grateful for.

Our Guide MUSTAFFAHA was wonderful but the only way to see things in Marrakech is via a walking tour. We were staying in the Medina so it was an absolute waste of money to drive around when we could quite easily of walked

We had a amazing time with Aziz. Truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and also tell us about Marrakesh. Please remember to get your tickets for the Jardin Marjorelle way in advance and online! They don’t sell on the spot. We missed out on this, but would not it any other way. Aziz, you were fantastic!
Very worthwhile tour

We were picked up on time at our hotel and escorted through many sites. The guide stuck with us, even in the crowded Medina. He took lots of photos for us and ushered us through the crowds. The driver got us very close to intended destinations and was always there when we were ready to visit the next site. We would not have learned as much or seen as much on our own. I recommend this tour.

Organised Trip of Marrakesh Highlights

This was a very well worth trip as you are taken to the major sights of Marrakesh in a morning. We had a driver and guide. We began at the Majorelle Gardens - where you need to pre book your tickets - and we arrived early before the crowds. Then we moved onto the temple and wandered around the outside here - our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us about the temple. We then moved onto the Bahia Palace which again was a fabulous place to wander. Our las stop was the Medina. Our guide took us to a shop that he recommended that sold everything - it was awful, you were hassled from the moment you entered - we left very quickly. He then took us to a “spice” shop that talked a lot about argon oil (I had been to almost the exact same shop in Tangier!) so we left there also. I asked if we could go into the Medina proper and not see these “set up” shops - so he guided us in and then told us how to get out and left us there! We obviously got very lost although we saw the parts of the Medina that we had wanted to see. It then took us at least two hours to find our hotel - which didn’t really matter because we had a good walk around Marrakesh!

This tour is an ideal way to quickly get an impression of the city, including the traffic. During our tour we had to deal with a car collision. But luckily we were soon picked up by another car. You also visit the Majorelle Garden (you have to book the tickets yourself first), but then you will be dropped off directly in front of the entrance and you can enter directly without having to wait in the long queues of the other tourists. Much of the tour is on foot, which may be too much for some.

Hassan was very friendly and took us to some lovely places. It was nice having a driver do you off and walk a little, then ouch you up again. We recommend this tour.

Private tour with Sam - very knowledgable but also really fun! Learnt a lot about Marrakech and the culture. Saw the majorelle garden, Bahia palace and medina - would recommend morning tour as much quieter. Driver also lovely and super efficient. Would definitely recommend! Not to be missed!
