Highly recommended doing Agra this away specially becuase of the safety of the train as highways can be dangerous.
I highly recommend using this company for the tour and highly recommend you ask for Hyder Ali for your tour guide if possible!
Note: even the 1st class restroom on the train was as bad as typical roadside gas station restrooms in the USA so be sure you have anti-bacterial wipes handy!

Wonderful way to experience Taj Mahal

Faizan was a wonderful, patient and kind guide for Taj Mahal. He was extremely knowledgeable on all the ins and outs and best viewing spots. He knew all the history and speaks clear, perfect English. He helped me navigate the heat and the crowds. Although this tour was expensive, it was worth the extra care and pampering I received. Remember to bring a hat and sunglasses for the hot days!

I cannot say enough positive things about my trip to Agra. It was well planned and I feel that the entire team was looking out for my best interests. Faizn was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. He explained each aspect of our trip to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. His understanding of each location and the cultural significance was excellent. All transportation with Salmon and Rehan was timely and each vehicle was clean and cool. Lunch was first rate. I will request Faizn for any future trips. He made it one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

We had an great time on this tour! Nabeel was our guide and Jeetu was our driver. From the moment we left our hotel we had someone there to help us navigate where to go from the train station to getting to our stop in Agra. Nabeel was a great guide that helped us appreciate the history of the Taj more so than we ever would if we went by ourselves. Great tour! My one suggestion is to not spend as much time at the stores so you have enough time to make it to Baby Taj. We weren’t prepared to be considering buying any of the marble plates, although beautiful definitely spent more time than needed there so we weren’t able to visit Baby Taj.

Taj Mahal visit

The driver was early to my hotel. Good English. The trip to Aggra was approximately two hours. The tour guide who met me, he was knowledgeable and had excellent English. We had a relaxed day. He knew many shortcuts and explained much of the history of the Taj Mahal and the red fort to me. The driver in Accra was highly skilled. Definitely worth a visit.

My tour guide Hyder Ali and driver Jeetu professionally and expertly gave me an incredible experience I will never forget. Every detail was accounted for, and they made sure I got exactly what I wanted out of the tour. If anyone I know visits India, I won’t hesitate to recommend this tour to them.

Amazing day trip to Agra and the Taj Mahal

The whole trip was wonderfully organized. We were a group of 12 and were picked up in Delhi at our hotel at exactly 6:45 am. The organizers made sure we reached the station in time and had our seats in the train. One of the folks even sent a picture of us to the guide in Agra. Mr. Hyder Ali came and picked us in Agra. He even arranged umbrellas for us as it was raining. He was phenomenal. A treasure house of knowledge and yet, did not overwhelm us with excess information. He was very informative, funny, and gave everyone ample time for photos as well as shopping. Similarly, he made sure we were safely seated in the train for return at Agra. A hat tip to him and the driver Mr. Sevaram. I'd use his services as and when I go back. Highly recommend to use him as a guide. Believe me, you'll be glad.

Great service from start to finish. Ifran, the driver, was very prompt and accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable the entire trip. Once we got to the Taj Mahal we met our tour guide Abdul. Abdul was very informative and helpful. He took amazing photos that helped us remember the occasion. He let us take our time at all the different locations and explained everything to us. He was an incredible tour guide. This is an amazing experience from start to finish.

Great experience with the tour company. From Delhi to Agra, journey and arrangements were perfect. At every point there was someone to escort us. All of them were very cordial. Specially the tour guide Hyder Ali was very helpful and enthusiastic. His commentary was enjoyable. He made our visit memorable. The service of the tour company can not be any better. The only thing i can mention is the price, it is expensive.

This experience was Incredible!! All the logistics were taken care of, picked up on time, delivered to the train station and then immediately met by our guide, Hyder Ali in Agra. Then we were escorted to out private vehicle (with ac) welcomed with flowers and met our great driver for the day, Amir. Amir knew all the ways to avoid traffic so we were able to spend more time exploring these incredible wonders. Hyder created a wonderful experience and was extremely knowledgeable about Agra and its beautiful history. He was wonderfully detailed with the Taj Mahal history and Agra Fort. He took wonderful pictures of us throughout our adventure. Made sure we had an extremely tasty lunch and answered all the questions we had. One of the best tour experiences of my life while being in India, and I would definitely recommend Hyder as a guide for any and all Agra experiences. Super personable, knowledgeable and experienced.

Wow wow wow!! We had the best day ever!!! 5* service. Wonderful guide Shaan Khan, Thank you so much to our wonderful guide for all of your hard work and amazing information given to us on the tour. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone wanting to do the taj. We were picked up from our New Delhi hotel and took us to a rail station, we went on a quiet carriage on the air conditioned train and we’re given great food there and back. We were met in Agra by our guide who ensured to pick us up - service with a smile and gave us hand picked flower wreaths. He ensured to take us to the Taj Mahal, Baby Taj and Agra Fort, ensuring to give great information and passing on great knowledge. Our guide was so patient with us, took us to a fantastic restaurant for food and even helped us out with our mobile data at the end of the trip, ensuring to explain the full day itinerary upon greeting. The whole trip was fantastically organised and we had the best time. Again, wonderful service via Pioneer- thank you for the kind hospitality.

Fantastic adventure

I would highly recommend this experience. Our driver Vishnu was extremely friendly and went abive and beyond to make sure we arrived on time and safely to our destination, never once complained even in crazy Delhi traffic. Once in Taj Mahal, it was very hot and crowded, but it didn't distract at all from the beauty of the place. We've seen Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with guidance of a very knowledgeable Faizan and loved both. Just be aware, don't bring any electronics aside from your phone, any pens, books, religious artifacts, any food beside of water,as they are not allowed at the Monuments. Your guide will tell you this for sure, but just so you are prepared that those things have to be left outside in the car. The restaurant we were recommended had more of a "foreign tourist" vibe, for sure catered to those that want to eat something beside Indian food - we tried local dishes and they were very delicious, so no complaints there. All in all, a great experience, would definitely recommend!

A brilliant day trip, highly recommended. Everything was on schedule and as advised. The driver and guide Faizan were brilliant, there wasn’t a thing they would do and were really helpful. Only 1 thing I would change, and that’s to create a 20/30min slot where we could have just gone for a walk around the Taj by ourselves to soak it all up, maybe at that to the itinery(free time😀). I would absolutely recommended this tour and the guide!

This was a fantastic experience I and I would definitely recommend this trip. Our guide Nabeel was wonderful and we got so much more out of our visit thanks to his entertaining, interesting and well-informed commentary. Despite the driving being very hectic, our drivers Manoj and Saddam made our trips to and from the rail station comfortable and safe.

Faizan Was Awesome

The overall tour was excellent. The hotel pickup and transportation to the train was seamless. Faizan met us at the Agra train station and was an outstanding tour guide. He walked us through the taj majal, Agra fortress, and baby taj. He was personable, engaging, and was passionate about his work. I highly recommend him for future tours. I do recommend that the tour company discuss the two stops (one to a marble factory and one to a scarf/cashmere shop). My understanding is that they are government subsidized ahops. Faizan let us know early in the tour but I don't remember seeing it on Viator. We didn't receive any pressure to buy anything, but it would be good to know when booking the tour. My wife and I have lived and traveled in Asia so these are normal, but they could be surprising to someone coming for the first time.

Worth the money!

This was an excellent trip! I paid circa £180 so it was expensive but it fet that I got value with a private driver from my hotel to airport and then throughout the day whilst in Agra. My tour guide Nabeel was excellent! Young, excellent English and very knowledgeable on the history of the Taj/Fort. He tailored his information according to my likes and was very likeable/chatty throughout the day. Our driver - Aamir was also polite and my car was clean and airconned! Nabeel was able to maximise my time through his knowledge of those working there - he was able to jump a queue at Agra Fort which saved us 20mins I reckon, those moments alone make it worthwhile when you are tight on time in a once in a lifetime trip. He made the trip for me with his knowledge! I’d recommend first class on the train - I splurged on that too and I don’t regret it seeing how busy 2nd class was! Minor tweak for me - the visits to the marble/kashmir shops were interesting but did feel a little pressured, despite assurances they wouldn’t be. I would recommend these as optional to travellers. As a solo traveller it felt a little uncomfortable at times with the shop owners as I was the only person in there!

I must say that this tour exceeded my expectations; Hyder Ali tour expert and our driver Jeetu from the moment I was picked up in Delhi to the moment I was dropped off back at my hotel, the entire experience was flawless. The tour guide, Hyder Ali, was highly knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about the history and culture of both Delhi and Agra. The tour's highlight, of course, was the visit to the Taj Mahal. Words cannot describe the beauty and grandeur of this iconic monument. The intricate details of the marble structure, the perfectly manicured gardens, and the peaceful reflection pool made for a truly unforgettable experience. Our tour guide, Hyder Ali, also took us to Agra Fort, which was just as impressive as the Taj Mahal. The fort is an architectural marvel, and the intricate designs and carvings on the walls and ceilings were breathtaking. The tour also included visiting a local market in Agra, where we could shop for souvenirs and try some delicious local cuisine. The guide recommended the best places to eat and shop and even helped us negotiate prices with the vendors. The transportation was comfortable, and our driver, Jeetu, was courteous and professional. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey.
