Walk to a handful of top-notch eateries to sample six to eight local dishes like seafood gumbo, chargrilled oysters, savory étouffée, the popular baguette sandwiches known as po-boys and more. As you nibble, slurp and sip your way through the French Quarter and surrounding area, get the scoop on the origins of each dish, from worker strikes to multicultural mashups.
