Gather a group of up to four, and meet your guide in Jackson Square in the morning. Kick things off with a 3-hour walking tour of the French Quarter, home to many of New Orleans’ most famous historic landmarks and atmospheric streets that are featured in many movies and TV shows.
Take a break for lunch at a restaurant recommended by your guide, where local and visiting movie stars are frequently sighted (own expense). In the afternoon, hop in a private vehicle for the next segment of the tour, a drive through various New Orleans neighborhoods often used as filming locations. See the historic mansions, tree-lined avenues, and a cemetery featured in well-known movies and TV series, plus the homes and hangouts of local celebrities such as Sandra Bullock and John Goodman.
If time and schedule permits, you will also visit the city’s back lot used by production companies, the set locations of any upcoming movies, and other destinations you request, such as the stunning Buckner Mansion featured in American Horror Story: Coven. Throughout the full-day tour, see the real-life sets of films including Interview with the Vampire, Easy Rider, Pretty Baby, A Streetcar Named Desire, Pelican Brief, Live and Let Die, Dejavu,Tightrope, Double Jeopardy, JFK, and more.
