Meet your guide in front of the the Nobel Peace Center in the morning. You’ll proceed on an exploration by foot of some of the historic and modern sites of the Norwegian capital.
Take a stroll past Akershus Fortress, a stronghold that dates back to Norway’s medieval era, then check out the sloping angles of the city’s modern Opera House. You’ll also take a walk along Karl Johans gate, a street that dates to the 19th century. During your trip your guide will also fill you in on Norway’s fascinating Viking history.
For the second part of your adventure board a tram bound for Vigeland Park, known to be one of the world’s largest sculpture gardens. Learn about the park’s creation by a single man, and then marvel at the intricate carvings of the “Monolith” sculpture. You’ll end your Olso trip at Vigeland Park.
