A very eventful day!

From the Mountain to the Sea:Erice and the Reserve of Monte Cofano | Sep 2018
When we booked this tour, we didn't know what the extent of the bicycle ride was to be. Our guide Francesco recommended e-bikes and we soon found out why, since we biked very much uphill from Trapani to Erice. (We are both seniors in our late sixties). Erice was an incredible little Medieval town with spectacular views. What a charming little town! Our bike tour didn't end in Erice, but we continued downhill to coastline trails and beautiful views of the sea. This tour was all day and we were told the distance traveled was about 65 kilometers. So, for anyone looking to spend an active day out of doors with beautiful scenery and historical destinations, I highly recommend this tour. Francesco couldn't have been nicer. You will get a lot of bang for your buck on this tour!
