Travel in a spacious vehicle, and admire the views of the Sicilian landscape as you travel toward the town of Agrigento. The ancient Greek city is home to UNESCO-listed archaeological digs, known as the Valley of the Temples. Pay your entrance fee, and then head down the main route of Via Sacra to walk amid ruined temples from the town’s heyday. Have your camera ready for the Temple of Concordia; it’s one of the site’s 5th-century highlights.

Return to your vehicle to travel onward to Piazza Armerina, the town that’s home to Villa Romana del Casale. Pay your admission fee, and step inside where an impressive portfolio of mosaics await. Admire the captivating Bikini Girls mosaic.

Leave the villa in the afternoon, and travel eastward to Taormina. Your tour-come-transfer service finishes with a drop-off at your Taormina hotel.

Please note: the visits to the Valley of the Temples and Villa Romana del Casale are not guided.

Michele was our wonderful driver who provided a professional, courteous and beautiful ride from Palermo to Taormina. We stopped to view the Turkish Steps, the temple ruins of Agrigento and the Villa Romana. While we were encouraged to stick to the schedule, we were not rushed when requiring a bit of extra time and enjoyed soaking in each experience. Perfect way to travel from one part of Sicily to the other. While it's a long journey - you never tire. Just looking out the window at the beautiful scenery is entertaining. Suggestion: pack a picnic lunch (as we did) to enjoy in the car or at one of the sites. Don't waste a minute of your adventure sitting in a restaurant for an hour plus. Highly recommend this service!

Francesco was a great driver. He provided us with materials on the 2 sites we wanted to see and knew the most convenient spots for drop off and pick up. Even though he was not billed as a guide, he was knowledgeable about the areas we drove through and answered our many questions. Picked a reasonable place for lunch and pointed out local favorites. Then bought us popular pastries to try for dessert. We highly recommend him.

We had to travel from Palermo to Taormina and decided this was preferable over renting a car and dealing with all of the details. Our driver with a small minivan met us at our hotel in Palermo and we spent the day sightseeing in Agrigento and Villa Romana del Casale before arriving in Taormina. It was relaxing, we were able to set our own schedule and could stop where ever we wished for coffee, lunch, restroom breaks, even a bit of shopping. Very pleasant day. Thank you

Our guide Josefina was gracious and helpful from start to finish. She recommended a lovely place for lunch and we felt in safe and capable hands for the whole day. Our Italian was minimal but Josefina's English was very good, and she gave us extra information about the sites we visited.

Mind you! this is a long drive and a hardcore tour! not for the faint hearted! its good if you got places on the tick list then this is great as you got two out of the way then! I left at 8.30 and arrived at 5. They are quite long walks but not too complicated so wear good shoes!
