Had a fantastic tour. Tito was our guide and he was interesting, funny and very personable. This is a great tour for the beginning of your trip to Sint Maarten because the Jeep tour takes you around the entire island and you can decide if you want to come back to certain areas and spend more time. We stopped at Maco Beach area, Marigot where we were able to shop and had time to climb to the top of Ft. Louis - a tough climb up 190 steps but worth the effort because of the beautiful views, Grand Case a review of some of the gourmet restaurants - but really lots of different types, and then time at Orient Beach for lunch and swimming. Just be aware that there is a portion of Orient Beach which is nude fair warning don't expect the Swedish bikini team or Chip and Dales!. After lunch we drove to the Pacific side of the island make sure you walk out to the small volcanic island on the Pacific side and place a rock on the pyramid of stones. The water is only a couple of inches deep but you need to wear foot protection because the pumice rocks are sharp including Oyster Pond and finally ended up in Phillipsburg. It/s a terrific tour and Tito made it even better. He gives you the tour via two way radio and is a great ambassador for all of St. Maarten/St. Martin. Highly recommend this tour.
We loved this tour. We lucked out, there were no cruise ships in so we really got a private tour. Serge was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about the islands history and really showed us what we wanted to see. The lookout points that Serge took us to were breathtaking. The Jeeps were comfortable and easy to drive and Serge made it so easy for us to follow him. We had seen a lot of the Dutch side so Serge really concentrated on letting us experience the French side of the island. Orient Bay was beautiful with the white soft sand. Marigot was a great town to see, climbed all the steps to the fort which was a workout but the view was worth it and ended at Maho beach to see the planes land. Once done they made sure we had a taxi back to our desired location.
