Make your way to Simpson Bay on St Maarten's southwestern coast to meet your sunset cruse. Board the 'Passaat,' a Dutch schooner dating from 1911. Passaat is the Dutch word meaning 'trade winds.'
Step up to the open bar and order a glass of wine, a beer, a soda or a rum punch and enjoy the scenic views of the coastline. Enjoy the fading sunlight and the slight Caribbean breeze as you munch on the provided snacks.
Groove to the onboard music and watch the sun sink toward the waterline, painting fiery colors across the tropical skies. As the stars pop out one by one, relax on the deck and enjoy the tranquil ambiance. Bring a long-sleeved shirt or jacket for the cooler breezes that blow over the ocean after the sun sets.
After approximately 2 hours of cruising, the schooner will return to Simpson Bay. Disembark and continue your evening from there.
