Cross over to the west bank and climb up to the hilltop Letna Park. Glide along the tranquil park trails, stopping to snap photos of the famous Prague Metronome and look down over the UNESCO-listed Old Town.
Pedal your way to Prague castle and hop off to admire the striking architecture of buildings such as St Vitus’s Cathedral and the Old Royal Palace. Pedal your way around the beautiful Royal Gardens, before crossing back over the river into the New Town. Finally, spot landmarks such as the grand National Theater and Wenceslas Square en-route to your final destination in the Old Town Square.
This is without a doubt the best way to get a quick tour of Prague. Hit the castles and the best viewpoints. Bikes were in good shape and the guide was friendly and spoke excellent English. This is a good tour for those with moderate bicycling ability. My wife and I are in our late 50's and had no problems whatsoever with the route.
Only one question. Where did Prague's dragon stay?
Worth the time if you can take it. Very good views and just enough information on the history to make it interesting but not overwhelming. There is some good terrain going up the hills and down but the bikes are mountain bikes and have multiple speeds so you can adjust.
Highly recommend this tour. I flew into Prague and wanted a quick overview and opinions on what to see. I walked to the bike start location and the bike leader was very helpful asked me for what bike style I wanted regular street bike or mountain bike. It was a rainy day so he provided me with a rain poncho. We stopped in several places with great vistas and he explained the history of the area and gave me opinions on what is happening in Czech Republic many personal experiences felt his opinions came from the heart. Great guide! After this tour is was very easy to get around Prague could locate a landmark and know my way around as well as what to avoid e.g., scams/pickpockets. He also gave some great tips on good local restaurants and what foods good to get.
