Travel by luxury minibus through a volcanic landscape along the south coast of Iceland. See the magnificent waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, the black-sand beaches of Reynisfjara, and the breathtaking Sólheimajökull glacier on this day trip from Reykjavik. Spot puffins, if you’re lucky, and get a look at Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which erupted in 2010. Round-trip hotel transport is provided.
  • Full-day tour of Iceland’s south coast
  • Marvel at the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano and Sólheimajökull Glacier
  • See the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off included from Reykjavik

Why Travelers Choose This Tour

High-end transport is a key perk of this tour, with guests traveling by Mercedes minibus.
After hotel pickup in Reykjavík in the morning, board your Mercedes Benz Sprinter—a luxury minibus equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi. Meet your experienced guide who shares information about each location you visit during this full-day itinerary along Iceland’s stunning south coast.

This scenic trip includes a stop at two waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Snap photos of Sólheimajökull glacier and Eyjafjallajökull volcano, and search for puffins along the black-sand beaches of Reynisfjara.

En route, get a taste of traditional Icelandic snacks: smoked lamb on flatbread accompanied by a typical beverage. There is also a stop for lunch before drop-off back at your hotel.

Fab day tour! Baldwin our guide and driver was very informative, witty and efficient. The itinerary was well put together and although it was quite a long drive it was broken up well so there were many breaks which helped the day flow smoothly. Beautiful scenery lots of snow covered mountains, glaciers and waterfalls. Thoroughly recommend.

This tour was great! We were helped by having absolutely beautiful weather, but the experience was unforgettable. Our guide was very informative and gave his perspective on a variety of historical, geological, cultural, political, and economic features of Iceland. I enjoyed that aspect very much. Each of the stops was well worth stopping for, and the tour ran perfectly on time. I highly recommend this tour.

If you're considering booking this trip, just do it! While it is a jam packed day and you don't get AS much time at each stop as you may want, it is a wonderful way to see some amazing Icelandic sites. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend!

From start to finish the tour was a joy. We experienced all weather conditions but that didn't dampen our day. Very impressed with our guide who was native to this beautiful country. Each stop provided ample time for photos and exploring a little. Nice touch at the end of the tour where the organiser let us sample his staple food and drink. We had an amazing day. Thank you

This was a nice tour. This was our 3rd one of the week. It was a little later in the morning start, which was nice. Great tour guide. It was chilly and I don’t think you can over dress. Driver was great too. Can’t forget about them.

One of the best tours I've been on.

This tour along with the tour guides and company has been a great experience. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. I must include that we didnt start off the morning on a good note. My friend and I didnt hear our alarm clock and slept in, causing us to miss our pick up by 30 minutes. We called the tour company and they happily picked us up at our hotel and dropped us to the last pick up point. I've been on tours all over the world and some companies simply wont go out of their way to accommodate this situation. Truly grateful that we made this tour as the south Iceland area is truly amazing. Our tour guide was simply amazing. The amount of knowledge that she gave us was great and she did all this while driving the tour bus. A+++ for her.

This was an excellent tour of the South Coast of Iceland packed with a lot of sights and opportunities for photos! We saw two waterfalls, the Black Sand Beach, an overlook of the Black Sand Beach, and an overlook of a glacier. Our tour guide Oskar was informative and played Icelandic music on the tour and even offered a traditional snack and drink at the end. I liked that the tour was small. Would definitely recommend!

Aevar was the perfect guide and driver for this small group of fun people. We were thrilled that the weather was good. Aevar provided us with information on Iceland's history, culture and geography as we set off before sunrise. He told great stories and kept the kids as well as the adults entertained throughout. Aevar was also very helpful, taking photos for the solo travellers and giving us suggestions on where to buy things from when we got back to Reykjavik. I loved that he played Icelandic music on the trip and that he explained the origins of the music and the artists involved, even playing different versions of the same song from different times. I also loved that we got to taste smoked lamb and the malted Icelandic drink - delicious! I would highly recommend this company and especially Aevar.

My favourite trip in Iceland. Our guide was absolutely fantastic, he had great knowledge of Iceland as he had been trying to visit every part of the country. The scenery was amazing and we had good time at all destinations.
