One day very well spent.

Benjamin was an awesome guide! As I was the only tourist at this time he asked me what I was most interested in and tailored the tour slightly to suit my interests. Benjamin was punctual, friendly, authentic and spoke great English.

I had a great time on this tour. I expected a little bit more actually because I thought we would go on a longer hike and get a little bit closer to the lake. You do get a great view on the hike. Everyone is super friendly and my tour guide was great! he was very knowledgeable and told me everything I needed to know about politics of the country even to the areas and parts around El Salvador. He was a great guide. Unfortunately the Ministerio de Cultura had closed down the ruins so I didn't get a chance to see them. My tour guide made up for it and gave me a tour around the city which was great and definitely not his fault I decided to go during Semana Santa, but just beware if you do go during holidays, they might be closed. If you want a Lake tour though you should book one with a boat rde included because we just had a scenic view. Great tour but recommended for the quick traveler.

I was travelling alone. The guide was super nice. Super knowledgeable and dedicated. The Joya de Ceren site was amazing and the Lake really great. I fully recommend.

Our guide was outstanding, and we really felt like we got an excellent introduction to El Salvador through this tour. It has a wonderful mix of cultural and natural experiences embedded within it. Joya de Ceren and Lake Coatepeque were big highlights, but the entire tour was excellent. Would highly recommend this tour!

A great one day comprehensive tour of the natural sites of El salvador. My guide Cesar was great, knowledgable, friendly, and I did realise how the day passed by not only in seeing the places but talking to him about various topics.

First off, our guide Irving was amazing. He's a really lovely guy who went out of his way to answer questions and accommodate any requests from the group.
We were unfortunate with bad weather, so the sites themselves weren't as good as could be - but in saying that, was still a great experience.
The ruins would have to be the most underwhelming of the trip - but I think that's because I had seen others in Mexico and Guatemala previously. My advice would be scrap this from the tour and add in climbing the Santa Ana volcano - as I did that on a separate trip and it was well worth it.

My guide Irving was an absolutely amazing guide. He had incredibly in depth knowledge of everything we discussed and was able to answer all the questions I ask and I ask a lot of them. I had a great time and the volcano was beautiful. Lunch on the lake had fantastic food and a beautiful view.

I enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommend it. First we went to the Pre-Columbian city of San Andrés. Seeing the site and the museum then, we went to beautiful lake area. The road is on top of the mountains, so it is easy to see the lake and volcanos from roadside viewpoints. We did not go to the top of any volcano. Basically, after entering Cerro Verde park, we just had about 45 minutes hiking in the forest, to see the trees and birds. At last we went to the ancient Mayan city and UNESCO World Heritage site of Joya de Cerén. The tour guide is very knowledgeable of the histories and the cultures. It is an interesting and fascinating journey.
