The history of the lake was super interesting. On the dinner boat, the cocktails were strong and the food was delicious!! Also, the sunset was breathtakingly beautiful! Definitely recommend this tour!!

What a wonderful evening we spent seeing the floating village by long boat then ending the tour with a nice dinner and drinks at sunset. Very enjoyable and interesting.

Bus old, meal consisted of fries, spring rolls, small pieces of fish, one casserole rye thing and two rice. Very average, not worth the money at all-go on a different one.

thank you for your review, i am surprised the buffet was not up to your standards, i will certainly ask our cooking staff what happened, i do know we only had 5 guests that night and we would have offered a fixed menu instead of the full buffet, our buffet consists of vegetarian spring roll, fish bits, fries, chicken wings, pork spareribs, fried rice, mixed fired vegetables, steamed rice, French dressed salad, Beef Lok Lak, also deserts and fresh local fruits, i am very sorry if they did not deliver as above, and will certainly address the issue, we use mini vans for the pick-up and return into Siem Reap, they are not that old, and get cleaned every day, but point taken, you did not mention the drinks? we supply cold beers, yummy cocktails, wines (Australian), soft drinks, water, spirits, as free flow, we are the only riverboat doing the full sunset with dinner and drinks and after 20 years we think we are quite good, but maybe the staff had an off night, I will certainly be asking a lot of questions and if necessary a few corrections as we stride to create a unique and pleasant experience for all , just had an update we had fixed menu on this tour as only 5 people but i think some miscommunications are at play thanks again

Family adventure on Tonle Sap Lake

Had a great time. Our tour guide was very friendly and we learnt a lot from him. Also has the opportunity to have good discussions with him about present day Cambodia, it’s history as well as the tour itself.
The food was very good, quite western and my children certainly liked it. As much to drink as you wanted - beer, spirits, cocktails.
The tour involved a stop at the Lotus Farm which was great for photos and a look at fish and flower farming.
The boat trip through the fishing village was quite unique, showing a very different way of life. Plenty of waving from the local children as we went past. There were life jackets in the boat just in case, but we always felt quite secure even through there was some heavy rain at times. Can’t do much about the weather but the tour accommodated for it and the boat was covered. Actually made for a cooler evening which was nice.
We stopped off for a brief look at a crocodile farm as well.
Then we ended up at the Tara Queen, a large boat laid out for dinner with great views over Tonle Sap Lake from every direction.
It was a real adventure and our family enjoyed it. Very glad we took this tour.

Great trip. The magnitute of the lake is very impressive, even in the dry. The meal did leave a lot to be desired, but all in all well worth doing.

Tour should not be listed on safety grounds

Big safety concerns. Part of seat belt on the old bus was missing and unlike other tenders at the port our boat did not have life jackets. When asked the guide said we did not really need them in this (shallow) water. At a kilometre away from the shore, even if it was less than a metre deep, we had two children who would have drowned in an emergency. Viator should not list this tour on safety grounds. Crocfarm was pathetic. Food and wine was less than basic and little choice. Floating village was good but tour was not value for money

Initially we started viewing the custom of growing commodities such as rice and girds very informative,then proceeded to cruise along river and view sustainability along the water,(wow) things we don’t know! However the dinner was limited and cold lack of variety.guides were wonderful very understandable....would go back!

Really enjoyable trip. Picked up on time from the hotel, interesting tour of a lotus farm before riding in the river boat around the floating village. Lovely stop for sunset on a beautiful old ship, great drinks and food before the trip back. Your was excellent and a great experience.
